Dark God Division

Max's POV:

"The new special recruits are here." I looked around the black vicinity noticing only metal chairs and desks placed strategically around the large room. Fang shifted nervously beside me and I could tell the rest of the flock was just as uncomfortable as us.

We had gone to visit Washington D.C. and Iggy and Gazzy had "accidently" blown up a toy store causing us to be arrested.

The President wanted to talk to us so we got to go to the white house. Fang and I were jumpy as always, but everyone else was extremely excited. We couldn't get Nudge to shut up for a minute. With a straight face the President basically stated that the U.S has tons of enemies they need to take care of, if you know what I mean.

"I will make you a deal," the President leaned forward and continued, "If you agree to become part of the United States secret division you will never have to deal with this Itex or ever risk being jailed." Finally the entire Flock was quiet including Nudge, cue astonished gasps.

That sounded like a pretty good deal to me, but I could never make a decision without my Flock's approval. I turned towards them and thought to Angel.

Private Flock meeting now.

Ok Max.Angel linked our minds together and everyone began to think at once giving me a major headache.

Ok one at a time: Me

Sounds cool: Fang

Yeah! Do you know how many explosives the army will have: Iggy

Dude we could be super cool badass people: Gazzy

I think that would be totally awesome I mean we could beat any of the army people and then like take over the army and run them then defeat Itex and maybe even be the rulers of the world: Nudge

Nudge shut up: Everyone

I think it would be cool and maybe this is what the voice meant by Max saving the world. I mean think about it if these guys are ruining the world this is how we can save the world: Angel

I turned towards the president and looked him straight in the eyes with dead seriousness. One question on my mind was bugging me.

"Why do you want us? I thought you had skilled people to do that for you." I cocked my head quizzically to the right. The president closed his hands on top of his desk.

"We do. However, we only have seven and that's not enough to take down all of these guys. They need some back up that can actually perform to their standards."

"Sounds good enough for me. We'll do it."

"Great. We leave tomorrow to their headquarters so be ready."
