If Kim Tan was Lucifer.
Yoo Rachel decided, she was Lilith.
Lilith was a wild, free spirit who cannot be chained or contained; Rachel was once like that too, before the divorce, before her failed relationship with Tan, before Cha Eun Sang, before her mother engagement, before being turned into a pariah by her classmates. She was happy once, but in the end she end up chained and contained like a bird in a cage.
Lilith was Adam's first wife, the true first female, created from the same earth as him. Adam and Lilith's relationship quickly became contentious with time. Just like her relationship with Tan, she always thought that if she loved enough for both of them everything would be fine, but she was wrong, her love was not enough. She was always not enough.
Lilith demanded to be treated as an equal rather than a subordinate by Adam, that was what Rachel expected from Kim Tan, he didn't need to love her but he need to respect her. He could have broken off their engagement a long time ago. He should have ended their engagement before pursuing Cha Eun Sang. But he didn't. He didn't.
If Lilith is not venerated, then she will be feared. And so she did all those things to Eun Sang and Tan, and she was not sorry, he broke her heart and the only thing she could think was that she wanted to hurt him just as bad. She was not a bitch for doing it; she was just a girl trying to mend her broken heart. But she failed. Like always.
Lilith enjoys hurting hypocrites. In the end she was just a hypocrite for trying to make Tan love her. She decided to give up after that day at Bo Na party, she was tired, angry, sad, and she probably broke herself beyond repair, and for what? For nothing, because in the end she wasn't even a choice for Kim Tan she was just an obstacle. Yoo Rachel was not enough again.
Lilith is immensely powerful; and potentially vicious. She could see in Tan eyes that he not loved her, but she couldn't say the same about Choi Young Do, he kept trying to make Eun Sang need him, want him, even love him. He failed every time. Cha Eun Sang loves Kim Tan, and it would not change. The only thing Young Do was doing was destroying himself.
Lilith will fearlessly eliminate any evil threatening those whom she guards. Choi Young Do was a lost cause. Yoo Rachel was also a lost cause. They were pretty much the same, they both always wanted things that didn't belong to them and they both came from broken families. So in a moment of clarity, after seeing Young Do humiliate himself again in from of Eun Sang, Rachel decided to save and fix him. Maybe even both of them.
If Kim Tan was Lucifer.
And Yoo Rachel was Lilith.
So Choi Young Do was Asmodeus.
And if Choi Young Do is Asmodeus, Lilith is his queen.
