Team 7 Goes DDR!
Summary: Naruto gets a new game and invited Sasuke and Sakura over to play. Let the dance battle begin!
Author's Note: So I randomly got this idea when watching a Naruto skit about DDR so I went to type it up and my computer died halfway through so I finished it this morning. I have like two or three stories I need to work on, but I am a procrastinator. ^^' Well I hope you enjoy this story.
The door bell rang and Naruto jumped over the couch and stumbled to the front door. He opened it to find Sakura and Sasuke. "Great you're here!" Sakura crossed her arms. "Yeah you called us over. What do you want?" The blonde ninja grinned. "Come on I'll show you!" Running back into the living room he grabbed a box while the two teammates walked in. He held up the box. "Tada! It's my new game. It's called DDR." Sasuke snorted. "You invited us over to play a game? It sounds stupid. I'm going home."
"Aw don't be like that Sasuke. It'll be fun!" Naruto said excitedly. Sakura tilted her head to the side. "Well it is our day off and Naruto does kind of have a point. Let's just try it." Sasuke sighed. "Fine."
Naruto set up the dance mat with arrows on them and popped the disc into the game system. After setting it up it was decided that Naruto would try it first. He set the game to beginner and clicked Start. Music started playing and dancing anime girls appeared on the screen. The arrows appeared and Naruto began dancing. He was horrible at first, but started to get the hang of it. The game went faster and Naruto struggled to keep up. He hit the last note and the game shouted, "Good job!" Naruto huffed. "Okay who's next?"
"Don't look at me, Dobe." Sasuke said. Such a downer. Naruto thought though nothing could ruin his mood at the moment. Sakura jumped up smiling. "Okay I guess it's my turn!" She picked a song and stepped onto the mat. The two boys watched as she hit almost all the notes while on Hard. Arrows continued to flood the screen along with little tricks to mess her up. But she was not fooled. She was out of breath when she hit the last note. "Excellent!" The game shouted and Sakura punched the air. "Yes!"
"Awesome Sakura-Chan!" Naruto shouted. Then both of them turned to Sasuke. "No way." He said. "C'mon Sasuke." The blonde encouraged. When Sasuke refused his two teammates started to wine and complain until he had enough and stood up. "Okay, okay I'll go." Sasuke stepped onto the mat. Naruto raised an eyebrow as Sasuke set it to expert.
The song started and arrows zoomed across the screen with blinding speed. If you blinked you would miss a dozen notes. Sakura and Naruto stared with their mouths gaping. Sasuke was effortlessly hitting the notes with accuracy. He didn't miss a beat and his feet moved at amazing speed. The Uchiha seemed so focused on the screen. He hit the last note and the game shouted, "Perfect score!" Naruto shook his head in disbelief. "Sasuke have you played this before?"
"No." He said, and then he turned around. His eyes were red. Sakura gasped and pointed accusingly. "Cheater!" Sasuke smirked. "Who said I had to play fair?" Naruto grumbled. "Damn sharingan."
That was when the members of Team 7 learned a valuable lesson. Never play DDR with an Uchiha. You will always lose.
