He sees it in their eyes as he walks by they think he's some ferocious beast.
They have forgotten that the day before half of them were saying , he was their favourite professor at Hogwarts.
But that was yesterday before they knew he was a werewolf.
He understands why they think it, half are afraid and half is both afraid and had been raised to think werewolves are disgusting things.
Yes, he understands it, but that doesn't mean it hurts any less just because he understands it. In some ways it made it hurt just that little bit more.
