Pinkamena Diane Pie had always been a strange girl. At school during recess, Pinkamena would sit on the swings having conversations with herself. She would speak in her normal voice, which was highly enthusiastic and happy, then switch to a totally different voice. There seemed to be 6 of these voices, and Pinkamena called them Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. She said they lived in a magical land, even though she didn't have a name for it, and they went on all these crazy adventures.
However, late at night, Pinkamena's parents would hear her in her room whispering to herself insanely. Her parents poked their heads into Pinkamena's room one night, and saw Pinkamena standing on the other side of the room, holding a knife. She looked insane. She ran at her parents and killed them, repeating over and over again, "The dolls told me to! The dolls told me to!"
Authorities came and took her away the next day, sending her to the closest insane asylum.
Her future seemed bleak, but little did she know how wonderful her life would soon become.
