They were sitting up on the roof like any normal lunch time. The group had expanded a bit and now so had the noise level. Chizuru had followed Orihime up and Tatsuki was doing her best to keep her from glomping 'Hime-chan'. Keigo was once again crying dramatically about how 'precious Rukia-chan' was so friendly towards Ichigo and Misuro not helping by adding fuel to the fire was addressing Keigo formally and calling him by his last name. In all it was pretty normal.
Ichigo ignoring the chaos around him looked over to Rukia noticing that the petite shimigami was being untypically quite. She sat next to him, occasionally dipping her hand into a packet and pulling out something pink before eating it.
"Oi midget what are you eating,' she looked over to him, chewing thoughtfully before nodding her head in Orihime's direction, who was currently discussing fabric with Uruyuu.
"Orihime gave them to me," she said and Ichigo noticed that she didn't react to the insult as was normal. Upon hearing her name the busty girl turned. Noticing Rukia eating from the packet and Ichigo pointing to it she joined in on the conversation.
"Oh, it's this westerner sweet I saw while looking for my red bean paste. They were having a 2 for 1 special and since I already had one packet I thought Kuchiki-san might like the other one. And you they mixed up the food in the store…" And she was off talking about something concerning leeks, peanut butter and red bean paste, Uruyuu nodding politely while the other sweat dropped.
"What are they like?" Ichigo asked now intrigued. Rukia held out the packet for him to take one of the pink sweets.
"It's just a lot of sugar and a bit of flavouring," he accused after chewing the weird sweet. It was sort of rubbery under the sugar coating for the main part but not unpleasant. Rukia popped another in her mouth shrugging her shoulders at his remark.
"So what's it called,' Ichigo took another sweet from the offered packet. Keigo sent up a wail of protest at the act of Rukia and Ichigo sharing the packet of sweets. Per usual he was ignored.
"So what's this sweets name?" Ichigo asked again.
"Strawberry …clouds" Rukia replied reading from the packet slowly.
"What I didn't say anything, midget," Ichigo retorted.
"Shut up idiot," Rukia replied, "For once I wasn't insulting you"
"Riiiightttt" Ichigo rolled his eyes in disbelief.
Smiling mischievously she said "They're called Strawberry Clouds, strawberry"
Ichigo practically inhaled the named sweet.
Ok so I guess you could classify this as drabble, I really don't know. And yes Strawberry Clouds are actually a sweet. I don't know if you can get them anywhere else but they are a common sweet in the lolly shops here. So how did I do? Any comment is good so please review :)
