The full moon shone brightly upon the darkfire forest, a young wolf named Suikai sat upon a mountain staring at the moon, his purple fur and golden eyes glowing in the moonlight
Suddenly an earthquake came from nowhere and tore the forest apart, Suikai was trapped, it s to dangerous to go through the forest he thought weighing out his options, suddenly the ground beneath him began to crumble, the only way out was to jump over the cliff and hope he landed safely this was his best chance so he took it and jumped.
He opened his eyes to see that he had made it to the other side of the gap perfectly unharmed, but then the earthquake hit again and the ground began to crumble so he ran through the forest, he was running so fast that everything around him was just a blur, when he reached the other side of the forest he found a small village with many houses made of wood and clay.
Suikai decided to check it out so he went down to the village and wandered around for a while until another earthquake hit this one was much more powerful then the last, the village was falling apart he heard a call for help coming from inside a collapsed house, he decided to help, so he began to dig through the fallen wood until he found an opening and he ran inside searching for the trapped person.
Suikai found a young hedgecat (half-hedgehog half-cat) around his age trapped inside a small room his foot was caught under a pile of fallen wood, his fur was bright orange with silver fur covering his stomach, his back was covered with dozens of sharp spines, Suikai noticed that a television set had fallen over and smashed during the earthquake, there were sparks shooting out of it and one of them ignited the wooden floor of the small room Suikai had to act quickly or they would both be burnt to a crisp, he franticly dug through the wood trying desperately to free the trapped hedgecat, as he finally freed the trapped hedgecat the entire house went up in flames Suikai passed out from the lack of air.
