Love is not something you can hide for long, eventually everyone ends up finding out, because when love's in the air everything changes, even the moods and the attitudes, it's something beautiful.
This becomes relevant to the students of Degrassi when they notice that one Owen Milligan had been nice to people in the last couple of weeks, is not that they don't appreciate the nice gestures and the smiles coming from him but is just that... it's too damn weird because one; he's known for being one of Degrassi's craziest bullies and two, he's said to his closest friends that he doesn't fall in love he just have sex period, so everyone was a bit curious about who was the (lucky?) person that stole Owen's heart and made him change into someone they doubt he had been before, thankfully the secret was revealed that very moment.
Owen was in front of his locker struggling to open the damn thing, some of his friends tried to help him with no luck, Owen started to lose his cool and just when he was about to throw a trash can to his locker, Riley Stavros appeared because his locker was next to Owen's
"You want some help with that?" asked Riley very casual
Owen's face changed radically and a slight blush suddenly crept on his cheeks
"Huh?.. umm yeah sure, good look with that man, we've been trying to open that stupid thing for hours"
"Haha very funny Milligan, you haven't seen the best of me yet" said Riley smirking
With one swift move, Riley opened Owen's locker which caused a loud gasp on the other guys
"Oh man! that was awesome! Thanks a lot" Owen said looking to his feet
What What? Big bad Owen was saying "thanks"? the guy's got it bad for Riley or what? Up to this point it was very evident that Riley is the one who stole the bully's heart
"No problem dude, that are friends for" said Riley smiling, Owen couldn't help but smile too
Riley got a few things off his locker and packed them on his bag-pack, suddenly Peter appeared babbling something about a cheerleaders contest and they both parted to their math class, while Owen parted to his geography class, the dark haired teen followed Riley quietly with his gaze until the greek footballer was out of sight.
Owen had been friends with Riley for the last two years, Riley was the one who gave him the freshman tour when he got transferred to Degrassi and they bonded almost immediately because they like pretty much the same stuff including football; his feelings for Riley started at homecoming last year when Riley lead the team to a memorable victory against Bardell, he realized how much Riley meant to him aside the sports, but he was afraid of letting the greek know about his feelings because he doesn't want to damage their friendship plus he'd heard about Riley beating the crap out of Sam, the lifeguard instructor who turned out to be gay.
He doesn't know how to deal with those feelings, his heart skips a beat every tine he sees Riley, sometimes he feels like he might be corresponded by the blue eyed greek but he can't afford making a move on him right now, after all, he has a reputation of his own to take care of and Riley probably would never feel the same.. or would he?
