Introduction
3956 years before the Battle of Yavin IV and the destruction of the first Death Star, the Battle of Rakata Prime, the last battle of what came to be known as the Jedi Civil War, had just ended and the Star Forge destroyed by the redeemed Revan.
The war ravaged the Galaxy. Millions died on both sides. Seeing the destruction the war brought, the Old Republic decided to send a colony ship to the unexplored regions of the galaxy in order to establish a colony so that the Republic could survive in some fashion.
The Jedi Order was keen to send 3 of its masters in an attempt to allow the Order to thrive in another place after all but a 100 Jedi survived the war.
This is a story of the colonists. After more than 3,000 years these colonists have established a sizable republic of over 25 species and 50 planets. This is a story of their re-establishing of contact with the rest of the galaxy.
With the Imperial Remnant attempting to one again gain dominance over the galaxy by expanding into the unknown regions of space, the New Republic is scrambling to expand as well.
A new age for the galaxy is coming. The Old Republic is coming back and it will shift the balance of power in the Universe.
