Summary: Harry and Hermione are teaching! HHr and NLOC Also there have been no previous couples!
An owl came to Harry's window in Godric's Hollow. It has been 5 years since Harry defeated Voldemort and Harry was living the bachelor life except he wasn't really picking up girls. Don't judge him, it is just that he really wasn't interested in anyone. Meanwhile, the owl perched itself on Hedwig's perch and stuck out it's leg. Harry, who just noticed the owl, plucked the letter and read it:
Dear Mr. Potter
I wish to invite you to take the post of DADA as the previous teacher has recently retired after his 5 year career. If you accept please respond immediately.
Sincerely, Headmistress McGonagall
Harry immediately responded with a simple Yes. And he re-tied the letter to the barn owl and it left threw his open window. Just as the barn owl left, another owl, this time a great horned owl entered the study. Harry immediately recognized it as Hermione's owl, Hedforth, and opened up her letter.
Harry,
I just got asked to do Transfiguration! Apparate to my house!
Hermione
Harry then grabbed his emerald cloak and apparated to Hermione's flat. Hermione's flat was a equally homey home with a large fireplace for Floos. Harry immediately grabbed Hermione in a hug and whispered into her ear "I got the DADA position." . Hermione who took a minute to comprehend his phrase started to jump around and squealed with joy.
"Harry, we have to go see Professor McGonagall immediately!"
They then Flooed over to Hogwarts saying "Head Office" and arrived with the Headmistress' back turned to them. As Harry got out he promptly tumbled out while Hermione gracefully leapt out of the fireplace. "Ahh, Mr. Potter and Ms. Granger have a seat" said Mcgonagall.
"We just wanted to thank you for the job, Professor" Hermione blurted out.
"Please call me Minerva" said Minerva. "Now, I just received your owls so," and Minerva swished her wand over two sheets of parchment which then changed to two schedules. "Here you go, this is your schedules. Please remember to be here at last before August 29th."
