Was he dead? Was he alive? If he is, where is he?

"Sally," Paul pressed. He was trying to make me go to bed, but I had to stay by the phone. What if Percy calls? Percy called me yesterday leaving a message about his quest in Alaska. And just a day, is a long time for a demigod.

"Please Paul. Percy might be-"

"Percy might be alive. I know. But I also know you need to go to bed" I wanted to cry, I wanted to howl until the tears won't come out any more. Percy was out there, fighting his butt off, while I was taking royal naps. I felt a tear slide down my cheek, as I weakly sunk to the floor.

"Sally. Shh deary, it's okay" Paul hugged me close like a rag doll. I felt snot drip out of my nose, as I sobbed loudly, kicking my feet the way I would do when Gabe would hit me.

"I'm such a terrible mother," I sobbed hoarsely. My voice was dry, but my eyes were a different story. Those tears could fill a water park.

"Sally. My dear lamb, I know Percy will come back," Paul cooed comfortably. The lamp beside me flickered as I leaned on the coach, Paul pulled the silk blanket over my shivering body. Then all went dark.

"mommy! The Easter bunny left me a big blue egg!" Percy cried. He was so small for a six year old, I knew. I smiled crouching down to Percy's height.

"What else did you get?" I asked false curiosity faming my voice.

"A note" A note! From what?! From where?!

"What does it say?..." Percy sounded out the words.

"Percy is alive"

My eyes flashed open as I collected my thoughts on last nights dream. I hugged Paul closer, snuggling into the crook of his neck. I knew he wasn't awake, but it gave me a thrill to say these words.

"Percy is alive" Paul of course didn't move, but when he was awake, I'm sure he'll be very excited. Of course I didn't say anything, except gaze at a Paul muscular chest. I think I zoned about Paul, so I didn't notice when his eyes shot open.

"Sally?" I turned my head to smile at my husband.

"Yes, Paul?" I asked innocently in return. Paul smiled, and wrapped his hand in my hair.

"You seem happier" I giggled before kissing him hungrily. He wrung his hands in my hair, as I stroked his chest.

"Yes, very" Paul looked at me confused.

"Um, Sally honey, are you alright?" I rolled my eyes before kissing him, and letting my tongue dance I his mouth. I almost took off his shirt before Paul took my hands and held it in a tight grip. I leaned in for another kiss. "Sally"

"yes?"

"Why are you so... Happy" I smiled and whispered drunkly in his ear:

"Percy is alive"
