The Peacemaker
His heart is pure,
His mind is clear
He walks with others
To tell "Peace is near!"
He doesn't like to fight,
He is very reluctant to kill
He's always asks forgiveness
For this dreadful skill.
He has a power of calm
Even in times of trial
He can also help others
And save them from denial.
He has many bodyguards
But better described as friends
They help him and he helps them,
Each the other's life defends.
His friends are many
His enemies few
He talks it out if he can
If others feel the need to.
He hopes and dreams of peace
Every waking and night hour
He wants the wars to end
And peace to bloom like a flower.
His hard work will pay off someday
With the whole of the world at peace
Oh, this day he longs for
When all the fights will cease.
Keep your dream alive, my friend
It will be a reality someday
No more will lives be taken
And weapons will be cast away.
Until then, this life is unpleasant
We must fight to stay alive
But you just stand firm in yourself
And peace we will revive.
