Imogeli One Shot- I Should've Kissed You.

I used the song I Should've Kissed You by One Direction as my inspiration.
Imogen stared into the mirror, deep into the eyes of her reflection. Flashbacks of the night before began to play through her head. Eli. Bed. Laughing. Talking. Wanting to kiss. Didn't know if he wanted to. Time to go home.
I should've kissed you, Imogen thought to herself. She regretted letting that once in a life time opprotunity slip from her grasp. If only she had taken a chance.
She decided to just see what today would bring. Hopefully closer to Eli Goldsworthy.
Eli woke up early the morning after Imogen was at his house for the very first time. He too had flashbacks of the night. Imogen. Bed. Talking. Kiss her. Kiss her. Gone.
I should've kissed you, Eli thought to himself. He too regretted letting that chance slip. Sure he'll have more chances, but there was something special about that could have been moment that he wishes he could go back and change it.
Go back and just kiss her. Make the first move.
And now that he thinks about it more, he begins to realize that she wanted to kiss him too. He goes back to the look in her eyes when they looked into eachothers souls and didn't say a word to eachother. It was a very brief moment. Lasted about 5 seconds. But he saw that longing.
I should've kissed you, he thought again.
I keep playing it inside my head,

He shook his head, trying to be rid of the never ending thoughts. But only more came.
