''You damn bastard ..''
Rebekah, hissed, throwing the photo at the wall and watching the glass shatter. She picked th e bottle of vodka next to her, taking a sip and leaning her head on the wall behind her. The damn Austrian, the only man she had loved like that, had loved so much .. he had left her. For another man. For Germany. No, actually, Rebekah was the one who left him. She didn't want to, but it was the right choise. She could stay with him and live a lie, knowing he loves another .. or be free. And such freedom it was ..
She still could feel his lips on hers. The warm feeling she got in her chest when he was near. But she could remember the coldness of his kisses too.
Every time he kissed her, she could see he was keeping his distance from her. Every time he said he loves her .. the words sounded meaningless.
She knew that for a while, but tried to lie to herself, to make herself believe he loved her. Now she was alone with her 2 months old daughter.
Memories flashing in front of her eyes, she could remember every second with him. His words, his hugs, his kisses, his touch. Everything was one big lie, she thought to herself. Memories of him, playing the piano for her, cooking for her, giving her empty promises. Lies .. But there was one promise she expected him to keep. He didn't.
I promise, Rebekah. I will be with you. I will take care of you and the child. Our child. Forever. I love you, Rebekah.
''He promised .. he promised he will be here. He promised that he will love me. He promised that he will take care of Anniken .. LIES. LYING AUSTRIAN BASTARD.'' The Dane shouted, throwing the, now empty, bottle at the wall.
She was sure, he was happy now. Without the annoying Dane to bother him, he could be with Ludwig and be happy. Be with the person he loved.
And yet, all Rebekah could feel now was emptiness.
Pure emptiness.
This is what I write under the influence of Three days grace. I am sorry if it's crappy.
