This is the first story I've posted so go easy please!

"KURAMA!'

Kurama jumped out of his chair and ran to the window, where a certain short-tempered fire demon was waiting for him.

"Hn. What took you so long fox?" Hiei said, his face contorting in pain as he stepped inside.

"Hiei, what happened?" the kitsune asked, a look of worry crossing heavenly face (don't I know it).

"A couple of A class demons reeking havoc in Makai." the half-koorime said, while Kurama helped him sit down on the bed.

"That should have been nothing to you. I mean, you're a mid S class. Don't tell me they snuck up on you."

"Don't insult me fox."

The truth was, they did sneak up on him. He knew it sounded ridiculous, that someone would be able to sneak up on him, but his mind had been occupied thinking about a certain green eyed fox demon. 'Damn him.' Hiei thought. 'Why am I always thinking about him? I have to do something about this or it might get me killed. And getting killed is not on my to do list.'

"HIEI!"

Startled out of his thoughts, Hiei looked up.

"What?"

"I've been trying to talk to you, but you've been staring out into space and ignoring me."

As Kurama said that last part a look of hurt crossed his face.

Hiei blushed and looked away.

"Sorry. I just have a lot on my mind."

Kurama noticed Hiei's blush and sat down next to him.

"Anything you want to tell me about?" Kurama asked, in that calm voice.

"Actually, yeah."

As soon as he said that he pulled the fox's head down and kissed him.

So what do you think? Review please!
