Rating: PGBasis: This is a fan fiction of Howl's Moving Castle. It is sort of like a continuation from the movie. Just a short little story: Howl and Sophie are together with everyone in the castle floating in the sky, but a new family member will be joining them and everyone is getting ready for it.
"Oh Howl, this is so wonderful being here with you and our family," Sophie said lovingly to him as they stared off towards the sky on the balcony in the garden. "We have a mother, a son, a dog, and each other. Isn't it wonderful Howl?"
"I'm glad I listened to you and found you when you were walking down that lonely street or I might not even be alive. You saved me and thanks to you we have a family. I love you Sophie!" Howl said happily to her as he hugged her closer.
"Howl…I'm pregnant," she said shyly to him.
"Oh Sophie, that's great! Everyone come here," he yelled out over the castle. "Sophie is pregnant, we're going to have a new member in our family!"
"Mother Sophie, wow I'm going to have a little brother," Markl runs around excitedly and catches Heen their dog in his arms.
"Markl it could be a little sister," she said while bending over toward him smiling.
Grandmama Pendragon, as they now call the Witch of the Waste, puffs slowly on a cigar, "A baby will add so much more liveliness to this house and I think we have enough liveliness. Congratulations anyway though my dear."
They heard a rustle of a plane gathering closer to the castle. They all looked over and saw the royal plane with the prince inside come side-to-side and he stepped out. He was dressed in a full pale yellow suit, which matched his golden blonde hair.
He bowed to Grandmama Pendragon, waved to Markl and Heen, and walked over toward Sophie and Howl. He bowed grabbing Sophie's hand and kissed it gently on top, then shook hands with Howl. "How is my love," he asked Sophie.
"Your highness, I'm sorry but I still love Howl and I'm pregnant," Sophie said eloquently to Prince Justin.
He smiled, as he already knew about her love. His love for her was not returned and he was fine with that, as he knew he would wait so that if anything happened he would be there for her. "I know and respect your love for Howl," he said bowing toward Howl, "I will not stand in your way but you are still my love and shall always be, even if I fall in love and get married," he said winking at her.
"You are a fine prince," Howl said to him. "Come lets all go in and have lunch, plus Calcifer will want to know the news and I need to talk to him about a new room for the baby. Don't want him to feel pushed or pressured like he used to," he smiled as he beckoned them all inside.
10 Months Later
"Your Majesty's, Madam Suliman, I want to introduce you to my daughter Yukari Pendragon." Howl declared ecstatically in the grand hall of the throne room. Sophie was right next to him with their adopted son Markl next to her.
"Congratulations Howl and to you as well Sophie. I'm glad someone was finally able to help you get your heart back, and just for that I will relieve you from your oath to serve the throne whenever beckoned so you may be 'Free' as you say," she said dismissing them from the palace.
They smiled at each other and walked onward out the door. Howl carried their small blonde-brown haired bright blue-eyed baby girl while Sophie walked next to him holding Markl at her waist. They had their perfect family.
