Dean had a stitch in his side bad enough he just wanted to curl up and die somewhere, his lungs were burning for oxygen. A quick glance to the side told him Sam wasn't faring much better. The nightmarish boxer was right at their heels, they couldn't seem to shake it. Dean knew they were normally sweet dogs, but this one was covered in scars and bloody open wounds. The job had suddenly become personal - nobody had a right to treat an animal that way, especially not some twisted supernatural aberration. First the fugly then, sadly, the dog too.
