A/N: I don't own Daisy, Rodney or Buddy they belong to Platinum Films.
It was a mild, winters night in Dream Street and all but two of its residence wee sleeping.
A single silhouette silently made its way outside and stopped by a frosted over grave.
It sighed letting out a breath of warm air.
"Daisy?" a male voice asked.
The white police car turned around to see a dark blue hot rod with orange flames on its sides come over.
"Daisy you should be resting." the hot rod said.
Daisy sighed.
"So should you Rodney." she replied.
"Well lets just say the coldness isn't what's keeping me up." Rodney replied sadly.
Daisy nodded knowing the two of them were facing the same pain. The pain of losing a loved one.
Daisy had lost her boyfriend, while Rodney had lost his newborn daughter.
"I miss him too." Rodney said.
Daisy sighed.
"It just isn't the same." she whispered.
Rodney sighed and nuzzled he police car gently.
"He taught all of us a lot of valuable lessons."
Daisy nodded.
"Yeah." she muttered.
"Daisy, look I'm not one for good advise but if you ever feel alone, just know he's up there watching over you. So you're never going to be alone." Rodney said.
Daisy smiled at the kindness in the hot rods words.
"Not normaly the one to say kind things." she chuckled.
Rodney shrugged and sighed.
"I'm sorry I couldn't make peace with him with my jealousy of your relationship before he died." Rodney explained.
"Rodney, he forgave you all those years ago when you first fell in love." Daisy began but Rodney turned is back to her.
"I'm sorry Daisy." Rodney whispered.
Daisy sighed and went over to her friend.
"It wasn't your fault Rodney, please stop blaming yourself." she said seeing the tears fall from his eyes.
Rodney sniffed and looked at the moon before returning his gaze to Daisy.
"Moon's nice tonight." he mumbled.
Daisy nodded.
Rodney smiled returning his gaze to the moon.
"Rodney, how many years were you in love with me?" Daisy asked.
Rodney started to think.
"Ages." he replied.
"But I'm not now, but well it's nice when we get the chance to talk now. Without anyone interrupting us." Rodney added.
Daisy smiled.
"Thank you Rodney."
"For what?"
Daisy smiled.
"Making me feel better about Buddy's passing. While we might not of gotten on well together before, what you've told me tonight is… comforting."
Rodney smiled.
"Come on, we'd better get back. It's late."
Daisy nodded before bidding farewell to the one she'd loved with all her heart. While Rodney said goodbye to both his special child and a good friend.
