The Note that Changed it All

A/N: Something I made up on the spot. A small ficcy about G/H..ok?? I don't own nothing. Bachelor Girl owns the song below!

I might be a little concerned with my hair I might need comfort, more then my share I might seem to follow fashion, but claim that I don't care My heart is your best friend, when it rules my head

In fact, Ginny Weasley would be the last girl you would ask about fashion, or hair styles. She was a shy, red headed girl that had six older brothers, so she needed the attention that some people weren't prepared to give yet. She was a dreamy girl, that spent most of her day in silence, wishing she was someone else. She did think about her hair, but not in the same way as other girls. She thought of it as a nusience, that was simply there for protection.

She was like many in other generations. Lily Evans was like her, always dreaming up rules for her prince. He needed to be able to listen, and hug me, Ginny chanted in her room. The other girls thought she was strange, but that's the way it was. She was happy for now with her brother's protective choices, but one day, she would be rescued by her prince, who would be perfect. She was very misunderstood in her own time, people staring at her.

Ginny got up off her bed, and slowly forced herself downstairs. The rest of the girls stared at her as she walked to the portrait hole, and turning to leave, she whispered "Don't follow me, any of you." Of course, no one heard her, and she walked on, head bowed, to the Owlery. There, Harry Potter, hid in the shadows when he heard footsteps coming up to where he stood.

He saw Ginny, standing there as a small, brown owl flew in and dropped a letter into her hands. She ripped it open, only to find something she found upsetting, from the look on her face. She quickly rushed from the room, dropping the letter in the process. Harry walked over and picked it up, reading,

Genivere,

Stop being a fool! He doesn't love you, just find a new boy. Harry Potter isn't the right person for you. Stop pretending he'll come to his senses and find a nice person who is good and nice to you, that I would approve of. Snap out of your dreamland, girl!

Take care,

Percy

Harry smiled. For years, he had loved Ginny, but wasn't sure of what she would say. Now was the time to tell her. Harry jumped up and ran after Ginny, to her dorm. There he found her, ripping all the pages out of her diary, tears streaming down her face. He walked up behind her, and grabbed her by the waist, pulling her into him. She stopped and looked up, whispering feebly "Harry, don't.." But Harry pulled her up, and kissed her quickly, pulling away, to make sure she approved. She stood there, smiling at him, and kissed him softly, but for longer.

"Finally.." Came a bored voice from the dorm doorway. Harry & Ginny twirled around (a hard thing to do with your arms around someone else's waist, trust me!) and saw George pouring sickles into Fred's outstretched hand. George smiled at their surprised faces.

"Good forgery, isn't?" Asked Fred. "I would have to agree, Fred, we've out done ourselves this time!" George agreed.

Ginny's eyes widened, and then she lunged at them, running after them, screaming things about abuse to them. Harry shook his head and ran after her, helping to catch the two older boys.
