Eighth drabble for the Despised Characters challenge on xoxLewrahxox's forum: Molly Weasley.
A bit ironical, since as people from this forum know, I am among those who just don't accept that BELLATRIX LESTRANGE could be killed by a Stunning Spell, no matter how "exceptionally strong". But I'm not going to throw a debate here – I just wanted to make that known, to explain the title and the ending a little. Enjoy.
Despised Characters
Write a drabble featuring a character/ship that you despise. This is NOT an opportunity for character/ship bashing. Instead it should be a serious attempt to portray the hated character(s) in a positive light.
Her life is her family.
One after the other, she pushes her children into life, her heart bursting with love and fear. She is the anguished housewife whose husband is out there fighting.
When the Dark Lord falls, she thinks that her family is safe.
It isn't.
Her daughter, possessed.
Her husband, bitten by a snake.
Ron, nearly poisoned.
Bill, attacked by Greyback.
George, losing an ear.
Fred...
Ginny...
She can't take this anymore. It is her turn, she fights to kill. Yet the spell erupting from her wand somehow protects her innocence; her soul will not be torn tonight.
