Her grey eyes rimmed with tears. She refused to cry. Staring into her saddened eyes, was a soft, but rough pair of amber eyes. The air grew thicker as death approached the young-looking man.
'Don't leave me.' The doll faced teenager coughed out. Despite her fight with the tears, they streamed freely down her soft white cheeks. The young girls body trembled in fear and sadness. She held the boy closer to her body. She pressed his head against her chest, near her hollowing heart. It was freezing over, trying to shut out the world.
Before her heart could freeze over completely, the dying boy spoke.
'I love you!' His final words, and final breathe. The shadow called death consumed the boy's soul.
'I love you, too.' She said before noticing he wasn't with her anymore. Stroking his fuzzy ears. She realized it was over. Her heart shattered just like the Shikon Jewel had when they first met.
Kagome knew her beautiful life was over.
