She was gone. Brooke Davis was gone. Out of his life. Out of the world. Yet everyone walked around like she didn't exist. Like she didn't belong but she did. He wanted to crawl out of this little cube he was trapped in and tell everyone that there was a petite brunette named Brooke Davis. She was a Friend, Girlfriend. Everything she thought she wasn't. As long as they realised she belonged.

She promised. She promised she wouldn't leave. She looked right in his crystal blue eyes and said ''the world won't get rid of me that easily''. Everything reminder him of her. The shade of pink her cheeks turned when someone complimented her. The way she squinted her hazel green eyes whenever she smiled her dimpled smile. The way she covered her face with her hair whenever she was shy and the way she played with her fingers when she was nervous.

She was always afraid of not being enough.

No matter how many times he told her she was more than enough. She always blushed the lightest shade of pink and turn around showing him her slim arched back. He always knew he didn't deserve her.

The world didn't deserve her.

He walked around his house and stared at the pictures of her. He couldn't imagine his life without Brooke Davis but yet here he was. Alive. Living without her. Knowing that every day he woke up there wasn't a small pale body lying near him. He promised her that he wouldn't do anything stupid; the same way she promised him she wouldn't go anywhere.

A tear trailed from the end of his eye to the tip of his chin. He waited for her to come brush the tears of his face. But she didn't come.

''Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday. I'm not sure she even knows it.''

She did.

She changed his world.
