Adam and Tommy both stumbled away from the bar after their last show for Glam Nation Tour. It was 3:15AM. Adam held Tommy's hand as they made their way back to Adam's car. When they reached the car, he turned and looked into Tommy's eyes. "Kitty," he slurred, "come with me to my hotel room. I don't wanna be lonely." Tommy giggled. Even though he was completely blasted, he still thought that the nickname the band used for him was very cute. "Okay." Tommy couldn't stop smiling.
When Adam pulled up to the hotel and got out, get grabbed Tommy's hand and just held him there in front of the hotel. It was a chilly night, but the city lights looked beautiful. And Tommy did too. As Adam looked into his big brown eyes, he knew it was time to say what he really felt. "I love you, Tommy Joe." Tommy's lips curled at the ends. "I love you too, Adam." "No, I mean I really love you. As in I don't want you to ever leave and I…I really love you." Tommy looked slightly stunned, but Adam even more. Neither could believe what he just said. Tommy spoke up., "I'm not sure if it's the liquor speaking or not, but I really love you too. A-and I don't want to leave you and I want to hold your hand and kiss you meaningfully and show the world us. I-I can't believe I'm saying this, but I do love you, Adam."
Adam and Tommy walked up the hotel stairs and into Adam's room. As he closed the door behind him, the click of the latch seemed final. As in this was a new start for him and Tommy. Even if it was the liquor speaking, he loved Tommy and he wanted to show him how much.
He took Tommy's hand and brought him over to the window that overlooked New York city. "Isn't it beautiful?" Adam whispered. Tommy took in the view, then looked up at Adam. He could see the lights outside sparkling in the singer's eyes. And the street lights were casting a perfect beam of light across his face. "Baby, you are more stunning than anything out there tonight." Adam glanced down at Tommy, a smile making his profile just that more stunning. "You outshine the stars and the lights…" Tommy started. His voice got quieter, "…and the fame and the fortune. I don't care if our pictures are in every magazine tomorrow. It isn't hell if everyone knows my name tonight, as long as I get to spend it with you." Adam's smile got bigger. He took both of Tommy's hands in his own. "Glitterbaby, we've hopped all over this city together, gambled half our money away, and drank the rest. Even now, jus standing here with you, I feel the rush of danger through my veins, like we are two little kids who sneaked around the city without anyone knowing and stowed away together in a room…alone. I don't want to lose this moment. I wish I could picture frame it forever." Tommy brought his hands up so their palms were together and their fingers locked. He leaned closer to Adam and whispered "Why should we waste our time? I'm ready to start forever with you Adam. And frame this scene, and be little kids again, and not give a damn. I just wanna hang on to these moments we have together." "Let's not waste it." They both whispered at the same time. They started to kiss in the moonlight, soft at first. As it became passionate, they stumbled towards the bed, their lips never coming apart.
As Tommy laid next to Adam, his head rested on Adam's bare chest, he looked out the window. A blue haze started to seep along the horizon. The sun was about to come up. "What are you thinking about, baby?" Adam looked down at Tommy. Tommy looked into Adam's eyeliner and makeup smudged eyes. "I've always loved you." Adam smiled and curled into Tommy, his back facing the window. "I've always loved you and always will love you, Tommy Joe."
