Notes: Written as a thank you gift for Meme-chan
for uploading some manga for me. And also for renewing my love for
Gakuen Alice by suggesting I read the manga. To think I almost
just stuck to the anime. Silly, Rin. Expect more GA fics from me, as
it's attacked my muses.

related properties belong to Tachibana Higuchi and related
parties.
Natsume sighed. Some people never changed, no matter how many struggles they lived through. It was just his luck that he had somehow fallen for such a person - one Sakura Mikan.
He was in his usual roost in his favorite tree as he watched the brunette chase after her black-haired best friend. Ruka and Iinchou (who was declared class rep each year, much to his surprise) were calling out to Hotaru to have mercy on her friend.
Hotaru zoomed passed him on a larger version of her duck scooter and tossed something up at him. It was Mikan's diary. He snorted and jumped down, knocking Mikan to the ground as she barreled into him.
"Natsume, don't do that!" she ordered determinedly. Her school blazer was open and her blouse was rumbled out of her skirt waist.
"Your belly button is showing," he informed her with a bored tone.
She gasped and put herself in order. She looked at him when she had finished and noticed the locked book in his hands. "My diary! Natsume, give it back!" She jumped up and he held the book above her head, making it impossible to reach just by grabbing for it.
"Seventeen years-old and still keeping a diary? How childish."
"Natsume!" she growled, bouncing like Ruka's pet rabbit in an effort to get her book back.
Hotaru chose that time to fly behind Mikan, her usual uninterested expression on her face. The inventor stuck out her leg and kicked her friend into Natsume before speeding off, rolling her eyes as the two fell into a heap and sounded their displeasure. They were a tangle of limbs as they struggled with each other.
"Give it back!" Mikan shouted, reaching for her diary. She ripped it from his hands and cheered, but her victory celebration was cut short as Natsume pressed his lips against hers. He pulled back and stood up, a smug smirk on his lips. "Go and write about that, Polka dots."
Mikan wailed and ran off in search of Tsubasa-sensei (he had taken over for Noda-sensei after graduating from college) to cry on his shoulder as she had always done, mourning the loss of even more of her purity by Natsume's lips.
"At least he won't hold her like he did when he was ten," Natsume muttered. He froze on his way over to Ruka, struck by a worrying thought. It probably would be better to make absolutely sure that Tsubasa didn't do anything fishy. He was friends with Tono-senpai, after all.
