Amy sits back in Karma's arms on Karma's bed with a laptop in front of them. The documentary on teenage serial killers has just ended and as the credits roll sweet lyricless music plays. Karma begins to sing to the music to Amy.

Karma: "I've got you under my skin."

Amy chuckles nervously and says "Karma come on-"

Karma sings louder interrupting Amy.

Karma: "I've got you deep under my skin."

The screen on the laptop has gone black and the music has stopped.

Karma: "I tried so hard not to give in."

Amy smiles and buries her head in Karma's shoulder as her girlfriend sings to her.

Karma: "But I've got you… under my skin."

Amy looks up and kisses Karma and they fall back onto Karma's bed.

Amy wakes up in the middle of the night with Karma lying next to her. She smiles, kisses her girlfriend's cheek, then gets out of bed. Amy dresses then quietly leaves Karma's room. Amy walks down the dark cold street alone.

Karma arrives at school and sits down at her desk in geometry. Karma notices Amy is not in the desk next to her as she usually is. Karma looks to Shane Harvey, who sits on the other side of where Amy should be.

Karma: "Shane. Pssst. Shane."

Shane: "Why are you whispering? Class hasn't even started yet."

Karma: "Where's Amy?"

Shane: "She said she'd be with you last night."

Karma: "She was. But when I woke up she wasn't there and I figured she went to school early."

Shane shrugs.

Karma texts Farrah: "Did Amy come home this morning?"

Farrah: "No. She's not in school?"

Karma: "No, she's not."

Farrah doesn't respond.

A few hours later in lunch everybody in school with a Skwerkle device receives an Amber alert for Amy Raudenfeld.

Karma approaches Liam in the art room.

Karma: "I know we're not on the best of terms... but I really need somebody right now. And there's nobody I can talk to."

Liam: "So I'm your friend by default? Thanks. But I'll pass."

Karma begins to fumble her words and tries to explain, obviously hurt and nervous.

Karma: "Liam it's- it's not like that. I loved you. You're my friend. I thought- I thought you were..."

Liam walks over to Karma and kisses her cheek.

Liam: "Of course I am."

Liam brushes Karma's hair away from her face.

Karma sees cuts and bruising on Liam's knuckles on his right hand.

Karma: "What happened to your-"

Liam kisses Karma and Karma is visibly uncomfortable.

Liam picks her up and lays her onto the couch in the art room.

Karma: "Liam-"

Karma is pushing him away

Karma: "Liam. Stop."

Liam is still grabbing at her and kissing her.

Karma: "I have to go. I have to find out where Amy is."

Liam touches Karma's face and says very aggressively: "Who cares where she is. She got in the way of us. It was us first. You and me. It was right."

Karma: "Just tell me if you know where she'd be."

Liam: "Why would I know where the fuck she is?"

Karma: "Well apparently you two know each other a lot better than I thought. You did fuck her. It's because of that that you and I will never, ever, be together. Get the fuck off of me."

Liam: "Yeah. I did fuck her, Karma."

Karma looks shocked at how brashly Liam responded.

Liam: "And last night… I followed her from your house, then I bashed her fucking head in LIKE THIS!"

Liam draws his hand back and swings his fist down with his full weight behind it. Karma's nose is crushed. Karma begins a scream before she is swiftly knocked unconscious. Liam raises his bloody fist and slams it down on her repeatedly until his own wrist snaps and Karma is no longer alive, but a pile of blood and bone.
