Okay. Here is a oneshot I wanted, not had, to do. And, do not get mad at me peoples (especially Jirachi/Emerald), I do not think I will continue...Elemental Legends. Or What The. I am so sorry, but I am not getting many reviews for it. Besides...I am not known for continuing stories anyway. I think I will stick with oneshots for now. Here you go:
Should I tell them?
Chiro was pacing around in his room.
This secret...I shouldn't keep it inside. This is too big. But...Could they help it? I know what they—we—are capable of. But, they wouldn't be able to do the one thing I need them to do.
Chiro sighed and sat on his bed. He's had a lot on his mind lately. Well, ever since Sprx went evil for about two days. Sure he was back...But that wasn't what was bothering him...
I know they would know what to do. But, they would stall...And that just might give me the chance to...No!
Sprx going evil unlocked something in the young teen's mind. A memory. A memory of a secret. A secret that could very well destroy everything.
I love them. I don't want them to worry about me. But...If I don't, there might be no way out for me or for them.
He knows that keeping secrets from his team wasn't like him. He shouldn't do it. But...The consequences could be dire.
They're dire whether I tell them or not. I don't want them to get hurt. Maybe...I could get them to the Secret Base...But, how would I trick them to that? No. They are my—everyone's and their—only hope.
All of a sudden, there was a knock at his door.
"Chiro? I wish to speak to you."
Chiro recognized it almost immediately.
"Come on in, Antari." He replied.
The silver simian walked into the room. The automatic door quickly slid shut after him.
"Are you okay, Chiro? I feel an emotional disturbance within the Power Primate."
Chiro forced a smile. "Everything's fine, Antari. Why would you think it was me?"
Antari gave him that 'I know you're hiding something' stare. "Just a guess..."
"Um...Okay. You must have it wrong, then..." Chiro chuckled nervously.
"Very well..." Antari left the room.
"Phew." Chiro laid his head on his pillow and lied on his back.
But...I know they won't do it. They care too much for me. At least Skeleton King had that much right. Their love and friendship will be their downfall.
Chiro closed his eyes to think a little clearer.
They would never keep a secret, or at least not one this big, from me. So, why should I keep one from them? They don't understand though. They never would. They would try to use love and friendship to help me. And hope. But it would be too late, and I don't think I could live with myself if I...
Chiro's eyes welled up in tears at the thought. He wiped them away quickly.
I need to know if they would, at the last moment, go through with it. If so, I can tell them. If not, then I can't. I need to know, if in the most dire of times, no matter what, if they'd sacrifice their hope and love and wishes to do what they need to.
Chiro was quickly asleep. It was late after all.
Moments after Chiro was surely asleep, the door to his room slid open. A figure walked in. A figure known as Antari.
He walked up next to Chiro. He activated his ghost claws and put them on Chiro's head. Everything he heard shocked him. But one sentence worried and depressed him the most.
How do I know I can trust them?
