I decided to revise the first chapter. I hope this one is better.

I swiftly got out of my car and trail the way to the private elevator. I punch the button leading to the top floor where the my office is located. A couple of floors later, the elevator's door finally opened showing a spacious modernized floor. My workers immediately stood up and greet me like they usually do.

"Good morning sir." I shrugged them off and went straight to my office.

When I finally got near my door, my secretary/cousin, Meilin looked up and smiled at me; "Good morning Sir Li" she said formally. I just shrug her off as usual. She cocks her eyebrow by this.

" Well, good morning to you too Xiao Lang! " Meilin said sarcastically before following me inside my office.

My office is not like any other office- no I'm not boasting or anything but it is really unique. The room is all white, there's a wide glass behind my desk allowing the people inside to see the beauty of Tokyo City, the furnitures are all green, the shelves are full of books -mostly romance because she loves reading them, my wide table has a wolf stuffed toy on top of it - a gift from her, and lastly the "asset" of this room- the ceiling that has engraves of cherry blossoms which is lightly touched with pink - girly right? but oh well, she loves cherry blossoms so what can I do?

I patted the stuffed wolf's head and smiled before slipping into my chair.

" You always do that every morning. What's up with that stuffed toy anyway? Everything here in your office is manly except for that wolf and may I say- your ceiling with flowers " She said smugly.

" Cherry Blossoms " I replied

" What? " she asked confused

" That's Cherry Blossoms you faggot. Don't you know that? " I always lose my temper whenever this topic is brought up. No one is allowed to insult her touch in this room, absolutely no one.

" Whoa, you're finally talking back! I almost thought I'm working for a log here, you never talk to me unless you want something. "

" yeah. " I said nonchalantly

" But seriously cousin, you need to remove this toy and remodel your ceiling, they're just so gay-ish. Throw this toy and make that ceiling normal, not girly! " she mocked

Keep your patience Syao... You might spill out everything. I repeated in my head.

I tried focusing on other things, hoping that she will just leave me be, but I was wrong.

She tried touching the stuffed animal and that really snapped the last straw of my patience.

"Nothing will be taken or altered in this room without my consent. This is my office , I work here and I will do anything I want with it. " I snapped

" Okay okay. Don't be so hot Syaoran." She said while pulling away her hands. "Why can't you remove or change this things? Is it because your wife wants these things? " she teased.

With that, I shut my mouth. I don't like it when people asks me why I have these things in my office. I just don't want to make things worse.

Meilin laughed " It is, isn't it?"

NO. I mentally said. But I can't say that, I can't say it because they will just ask me again and again. They shouldn't know that she is the reason.

Lunch is approaching, as of now I am reading the reviews of our sales for this week.

Being the CEO of the Li Corporation is really tiring but enjoyable nonetheless. At first I didn't like this job, but after the moment I met the heiress of Am-Ki Corporation (our sister company) I realized that this wasn't so bad afterall. If it weren't for this title, I wouldn't have met her.

I am too engrossed with my work when my phone rang so I answered it, unaware of who is calling.

" Li. " I answered professionally

" Syao." an angelic voice called out. My attention is instantly diverted onto the call totally ignoring the papers in my desk.

" Sakura " I said breathily. She always have this effect on me, every bit of coldness and professionalism goes away whenever I talk to her.

" Are you still busy? I'm dead hungry!" she complained. I chuckled at her childishness, she never changed. " Yah! don't laugh at me! " she wailed. Seriously, if anyone hears her they will think that she's a kid not a 24 year old lady or the heiress of the Am-Ki Corporation.

" I'm still busy Sakura. "

"Com'on Syao. Let's go out." She pleaded. How I wish that she meant it the other way.

"Eat on your own Saks." I teased. I know that I will accompany her one way or another, but that doesn't mean I can't tease her a bit right?

" No no no no! You promised you'll treat me! "

" What?! I did not! " If I remember it correctly, I never promised that I'll treat her. I suddenly remembered the time when I first treated her... I regretted it so much. That time we just met so I didn't know that she eats like a pig (just like the way I eat). She ordered almost everything in the menu. I cringed at the memory.

"So you won't treat me hmm?" Suddenly it became silent. I know what's coming next.. I sighed. Here we go again 5, 4, 3, 2...

" Okay... I'll just go starve myself till I die then. " she said with finality. I shook my head, she got me again.

" Fine. I'll treat you. I'll be there in 10 mins. " I sighed defeatedly.

"YES! See you! " she cheered before ending the call. I chuckled at her childishness.

I arranged my files before setting out to fetch Sakura Kinomoto, the girl who I'm inlove with. The girl who is always in my mind. She's the reason why there's a stuffed animal on my table, romance novels on my shelf and cherry blossoms on my ceiling.

She is my bestfriend.
