AN: Short little oneshot about Eve and Will because writing these helps me get through the long week between each episode. And also because of today's episode. And the preview for next week's episode. I needed to write something to make it better.

DISCLAIMER. I do not own Eve. Eve and Will would be a thing already if I owned Eve.

There were not many things in the world that Eve did not like or did not want to experience, but the thing she despised the most was boredom. It had been five hours since Will had left for school that day, and during that time she had completed a video game thirty three times, devoured two paperback novels that Lily had left lying around (one about a little girl called Alice, whom Eve was pretty sure was a little mad, and another about something to do with stars, but the metaphorical stars that humans referred to, not the literal stars in the sky), and reorganised everything in the fridge into alphabetical order according to colour. For the past ten minutes, she had been sitting at the kitchen table, staring at the little notepad left beside her, a shopping list scrawled across the top page in Nick's untidy handwriting. Three lines of neat computer code now ran alongside eggs, milk, bread and spanner, along with tiny clusters of bubbles doodled in the corner in intricate detail. She needed something else to occupy her time, something else to exercise her brain, to apply some kind of logic to. Nick often wrote lists to help him remember things. That was a kind of brain exercise, wasn't it? Eve flipped to a clean page in the notepad, carefully printing a title across the top line.

Things That Make Me Happy:

1. Bubbles

2. Reading

3. Learning

4. Music

5. Talking to Will

6. Listening to Will sing along to the radio device

7. Playing human video games with Will

8. Blowing bubbles with Will

Hm. There seemed to be a pattern forming here. Eve turned to yet another clean page, smoothed out the creases with the back of her hand, and began writing a new list. A very, very, very long list, it seemed. She was still scribbling away when Will walked through the kitchen door an hour later.

"Alright, Eve?" He sat opposite her at the kitchen table. "What're you doing?"

"Writing a list." Eve put the pen down on the surface beside her, and turned back to the first page, reading aloud.

"The -" She quickly checked the total "-Two Thousand and Fifteen Things I Like About Will:

Your friendly smile

2. You always has interesting things to talk about

3. You helped me make bubbles because I do not require oxygen

4. You promised to look after me when we first met, even though you did not know me or what I was capable of

5. You help me no matter what

6. You always want what's best for me, even when I do not realise it

7. Your laugh

8. You see the best in me

9. You are always kind to me, even when I do not deserve it

10. Your eyes are a very pleasant shade of blue -"

She was silenced suddenly with a soft peck on the lips. She pulled away much sooner than Will would have liked, frowning, her eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

"What was that for? I still have two thousand and five things left on my list!"

Ah, Eve. How we love you. And Will. How we love you too. :)
