The Guiding Light
From the time we were very small
Ever since your eyes crossed mine
My soul, my breath, my body, you have taken it all
Your ravishing image at that time and now, so wonderfully divine
Yet too ignorant you remained
Through the everlasting years, I thought you had loathed me
Your attention for me, our friendship waned
Despite my heart's agony, I adored thee
But when you, too, felt such clear love in your heart
That it was meant for me, my being became the epitome of bliss
Not even the fires of hell could tear us apart
So vigorous, too, was our kiss
My radiant prince, the universe's light
Guide our one life together through the frigid night.
Blessed Wolf of the Desert
For a time, I thought that I loved her
True, she was indeed kind to me
Good friends, so close we were
At least, up until I met thee
At first I was so dense
Unable to know, despite my intuition, what you thought
The longer we stayed together, the more I grew tense
Your efforts to make me yours were no longer for naught
For these petty emotions were but mere signs of love
The piercing fangs, my fading soul
Could not overpower the tranquil heart of a dove
You, wolf prince of the sands, make me feel whole
To have met you, your presence here is truly a blessing
With you I could endure any burden, however pressing.
