Edward and I were lying in the meadow, holding hands in a blissful silence. The sun was just breaking through the cloud, causing Edward's skin to sparkle. I looked at him; he noticed and turned his head to face me, our faces just two inches apart. I placed my hand on his cheek admiring his skin; he closed his eyes in contentment. I stoked my thumb back and forth across his shimmering cheek bone. I sighed, why couldn't I be as beautiful as him? Why did he have to be so stubborn on the subject of changing me? Ha, speak for myself I'm stubborn about mort things. To top it all off he was better than me at almost everything, the almost points to cooking. I laughed quietly to myself, imagining Edward attempting to flip a pancake.
"What's so funny?" He asked opening his eyes.
I sighed, "Just thinking about the fact that you're better than almost everything compared to me," I smiled slightly.
He laughed, "Almost?"
I stood up, and decided to have a little fun with this conversation. I glared at him and ran ten feet away; I stopped with my back facing him. Laughing quietly to myself, I knew this would never scare him.
"Bella?" He questioned slightly worried by my action.
At that point and I turned around, and bent down into a crouch, my fingers spread out and curled slightly like claws. I tried to growl – it worked out quite well for a human – baring my teeth curling my lip back over my teeth. He looked at me shocked, but caught up quickly he did the same as I did but his expression and his growl was much more professional than mine was.
I circled him, hissing every now and then. He did the same – but, more frightening.
"Hummm," I mumbled and winked, "you seem quite fierce."

He growled playfully. I legged it in to the trees as fast as I could make my human legs run. It didn't work for long he pounced on me, shielding me against his chest he landed with his back to the floor. I was crouched on top of him, I jumped up and held my hand out to him, he took it willing. I smiled at him.
"Okay, you are better at running and being scary." I laughed, "But, I can cook – that;s something you can't do"
He laughed to, "I must learn that, so I can irritate you more often it's funny when you get angry." I scowled at that.
A cool finger pulled my chin up to look him in the eyes,
"I love you,"
"I love you, Edward," I stood on my tip toes to kiss him, I laughed quietly and pulled away, I skipped away in to the trees that were surrounding us, he caught up easily he took my hand, pulled me onto his back and took my back to Charlie's.
