It
started small, a relationship based on trust and the lack of it. Both
trying to assert control over the youngers life as well as the
secrets he held and gave away. They clashed frequently, publicly and
privately, trying to prove that their intentions were right. From
this rocky base grew an equally unsteady understanding, nothing more
than a truce so that they may both push the other from mind. Still
there remained a deeper current to the clashes, one that both could
not deny. A strained desire that did naught but fan the flames of the
already heated feuds.
Maybe one stood to near, or the words hit to
close to home, but as the pleasurable haze subsided and the pull of
duties resumed both knew that this was not the end of the conflict.
Just another untold secret.
