Chapter seven: A Twist In My Plot
That night Cady went over to visit Janice and Damien, she needed their opinions on what to do to Regina because nothing she thought of in the past was evil enough.
"So guys any ideas?" asked Cady once she settled in on Janice's couch.
"I don't think you should get revenge on Regina. I mean you know what's she's like, it's not just you." said Janice quietly in protest.
"WHAT?" yelled Cady "We were supposed to be in this together!"
"Well Cady actually Regina had started this..." began Damien but before he could continue Janice cut him off.
"No Damien!" said Janice gritting her teeth.
"Well it's about time Cady found out. And even if she doesn't now, she will someday." retorted Damien folding his hands together. Janice thought about this then agreed to tell him tell him.
"You see back then Janice used to be friends with Regina. Before she was plastics. But then Regina suspected Janice because she thought Janice was obsessed with Regina. So then she had a party and didn't..."
"And she didn't invite her because she thought she was a lesbian. Yeah, I know... Regina already told me that," said Cady "I just want to know why Janice is protecting the queen of mean? You said so yourself that she ruined you life, now you're going back on your word?"
"Well... I've got a confession to make also," began Janice wondering if she should continue. After a long pause she breathed in deeply and exhaled and continued "As you know about the lesbian thing..." But she didn't get a chance to finish.
"You mean it's true?!" gasped Cady in shock, wide eyed and gapping.
"Well since you guys are my friends..." Janice muttered to herself "Yes, I am. But the worst part is I'm infatuated by Regina. I just can't stop thinking about her, good or bad."
"Well... I guess she is ok, but that's only if she is not stabbing someone's back or laughing at them." said Cady remembering the good times with Regina. Janice nodded in agreement.
"We used to talk about everything. Good or bad. She was my confidant, until that day..." Janice drifted off in a daze. All this time Damien had listened intently.
"So what are you gonna do Cady?!" asked Damien breaking the awkward silence, but his question only made it more quiet.
"I don't really know." sighed Cady after a long pause drawing in her breathe. She looked at Janice for some sort of console, she just looked down avoiding eye content..
"Maybe you shouldn't do anything..." said Janice talking to the rug more then her friends.
