Well, she'd finally done it.
And somehow, even though it lived up to her expectations, it didn't.
She thought that this would be the real time she lost her virginity. The sweet time, that would made her feel so much more than… the other times. With the wrong boy. But it didn't.
Nate's hands were too cold. They made her shiver for all the wrong reasons. She couldn't stand the feeling of him touching her, making her insides feel frozen, compared to the feeling of him touching her in the same places. His hands were warmer, more comforting than Nate's could ever be, she realized.
She didn't like the way their bodies fit together. She was uncomfortable under all his muscle. She had to roll away from him to actually feel comfortable. Normally any girl would swoon, but all of a sudden, as he held her almost too tight, all the things that she adored about Nate were the things that bothered her the most.
She thought about how when he held her, their bodies fit perfectly. There was never any space, because neither of them liked it that way. They preferred to be as close as possible. That was good for the both of them.
After it happened, Nate had only stayed up for a maximum of maybe ten minutes, adorably but irritatingly falling asleep. He stayed up with her until she fell asleep, all of the times, holding her and whispering nothings in her ear until she fell asleep, contented.
As she pondered about all of this, a random image popped into her brain: After she'd left him, devastated. She'd never seen him that distraught before. She had just pushed it to the back of her mind, telling herself she didn't care.
What a lie that'd been.
So now she sat, feeling alone with the right boy. Who somehow, couldn't compare to the wrong one.
