Shepherd woke up like he did normally, got clothed normally, but he realized something was on his bed side table it was an envelope. Shepherd picked the envelope up and examined it looking for who it was addressed to, although he knew. He opened it and read:
This card is addressed to Sheperd and only may he read it. This is from one of your crewmembers asking you to be their valentine, but you must find out who. I have left you some clues to help you along the way. So if you want to find out who wrote this you must go to the CIC your first clue is there.
Shepherd couldn't wait to go look for clues but first he has to do the reports of the Normandy's latest mission which was track down a drug trafficker. It proved to be a tricky mission as it was on the citadel so it was crowded.
It was about twelve when Shepherd finished his reports. So he quickly made his way to the CIC. When he was there he found a note it said:
Go back to the first mission you did as a spectre. The planets first letter means something to me.(BTW Sheperd it was in the system Attican Beta).
Puzzled Shepherd went to the galaxy map to look at the Attican Beta. He rembered that he has only been to Feros so his secret admirer thinks f is important.This barely narrowed his search down. Convinced he wasn't going to find out who it was, he went back to his quarters.
When Shepherd arrived at his quarters he found something that would help his search get narrowed down alot. A dextro-vore alcohol glass unopened. Shepherd knew that only Liara, Tali and Garrus liked dextro-vore food and alcohol. Tali and Garrus as they were both dextro-vores and Liara liked it because of variety. He also knew that he wasn't gay nor was Garrus. So this narrowed it to Liara and Tali.
After pondering over who it was Liara or Tali it occurred to Shepherd that it was Tali as she thought that family was the most important thing in life followed by the migrant fleet. So Shepherd sent her a message via bio-book asking if the mystery valentine was her. She replied straight away saying yes. Shepherd asked if she was doing anything later. Tali replied almost instantly saying that she wasn't and was hoping if she could go to his quarters at four. She sent a message back saying she would be happy to. Shepard looked at his alarm clock it was 2:30 only an hour and a half to wait until she will come.
At 4 Shepherd heard tali press the buzzer it transmitted her voice "can i come in."
Sheperd pressed the door open button on his desk and said "of course."
