TWO OF A KIND
Setsuna F. Seiei just stared blankly at the wall of his bedroom in his apartment.
"The real things sure don't happen so often." he thought. He grabbed his device and browsed through the information once again. He let out a sigh, and then checked the memo file: a date with Nena Trinity, which was that day itself.
"Okay, so what now?" he grumbled for no reason. Perhaps he was bored of waiting. The image of the O Gundam flashed through his mind all of a sudden. He slapped his own cheek to keep himself awake. Just then the doorbell rang.
"At last." he thought. He got up from his bed, went to front door and opened it.
"Hi Setsuna!" Nena pounced at him and hugged him. "Waiting that long for me? Miss me?"
"Oi oi! Calm down will you?" Setsuna was surprised by that. "What's with that kind of act anyway?"
"He he. Didn't I got you for that?" she looked up at him and smiled. "After all it's just the two of us today. Free from our duties at least." she let him go and held his hand with hers. "Ja, let's go."
"Yeah, right." he walked out with her. Just as they closed the front door, the door next door to them opened, Saji and Louise came out of there.
"Oh, Setsuna. Konichiwa." Saji looked at him. Setsuna just nodded back.
"Seldom see you out this early these days."
"Well, I…"
"Hey, are you two going out on a date too?" Louise popped it out all of a sudden, seeing how close was Nena to him.
"Huh?" Setsuna's face changed. "Well… errr…"
"Of course we are!" Nena hugged him from behind. "This is our first date together!" she smiled. "Oh, you must be Setsuna's neighbors after all. Hmm… are you two going on a date too?"
"Err… yeah." Saji's face blushed a bit. Louise saw that and pouted unexpectedly, but then burst into laughter, surprising the rest of them.
"Aiya. Saji's always like that, you know. He's a little shy sometimes you know. Ah, we won't wanna bother both of ya. So go on, have your own date. See ya" She grabbed Saji by his arm and pulled him away.
"Matte yo, Loiuse." Saji was a little nervous. He nearly lost his balance as he struggled to keep up with Louise.
"Ha ha. They sure have the guts to be that close together." said Nena.
"Yeah." replied Setsuna without even looking at her. "Date? They're looking for happiness together like this?" he thought. He barely had the thought to even smile.
"Anyway, let's go." said Nena. "Come on, what are you waiting for? You brought your wallet along with ya right, so you'll be paying for everything today, right?"
"Ah uh." Setsuna just looked on. Seeing Setsuna still standing there and refused to move on, Nena grabbed him by his arm just like Louise did and dragged him down the apartment, and they went on for their first date together.
