Sheriff Valenti ran after the girl who had supposedly ran away from the children's home. He stopped and watched as the girl stopped
running and sat down to cry. He then slowly went over and sat next to her. The Sheriff hugged her and just let her sit there crying.
"Please don't make me go back there, please don't make me go back there." The girl repeated over and over.
"Shh, Shh well see what we can do." The sheriff said understandingly.

"Sheriff?" asked a voice behind him. 'OH NOT NOW' he thought as he turned around to see Isabel and Max Evans standing behind him.
"Sheriff we got a flat tire." Said Isabel. The sheriff walked over to them and said, "I'll help but one of you will have to stay here
and watch that girl. "I'll watch her" Max volunteered. "Ok show me where the car is." The sheriff said to Isabel as the walked away.

"Hi" Max said as he sat down next to the girl who seemed to have calmed down a little, "I'm Max." "I'm Taylor" The girl replied.
"So what are you doing out this late at night?" Max asked trying to start a conversation but realized just after the words came out of
his mouth that it was a bad topic to bring up. "I ran away from an orphanage, or what they called a children's home." "Oh...I was and
orphan too." Max said a little timidly because he wasn't sure of what her reaction would be. "You were? I WAS one and I just became
one again." "I'm not totally sure I know what you mean" Max responded. "Well," Taylor explained "I had a great father who adopted me
when I was six but apparently me mother didn't really want to adopt me she just went along with everything my dad did. Then when I was
about eight me dad got in a car accident and died." The girl thought a couple minuets before adding "and a couple weeks ago my mom died
from another car accident."
