Chapter 1: The First Encounter
My name is Iz' and I am 19 years old. Born into one family, raised with another and matured without one, I have every reason to become what others may perceive as "evil". But the thing is, I am not evil. That doesn't mean I am good either. I have been called "a hero" and a " villain," but as the wanderer I am, I claim only one title and one title only: I am Iz'.

Darkness enveloped the wandering figure as he snuck out of the small town into the forest. A black hood hid his face within shadows as the cloaked character carefully considered his situation. Iz' had been going from town to town, searching for foes to train against when he heard from some peasants in the village he was leaving that a person called the Azure Knight was ravishing the countryside. This so-called Azure Knight, as Iz' had heard, killed thousands for their souls in his attempt to revive the Soul Edge. Iz' had taken this info unimpressed and wanted to challenge him. But not only did he want to challenge the Azure Knight, Iz' wanted to challenge him at his fullest power. If he defeated the Azure Knight, he could defeat anyone, including his brother. So now, as he wandered on a path through the woods, he sought all of the shards of the Soul Edge.
Iz' felt as if he was being followed, but he continued walking, his hand near his sword just in case. The feeling got no better the further he progressed, and it was starting to annoy him. Iz' stopped, closed his eyes, and stood, still and silent. A slight breeze blew through the trees, the only disturbance in the clear summer night. But the feeling was still there: Iz' was being watched by someone, or something. Iz' continued to walk, but instead of continuing on the path, he dashed into the brush. As soon as he did, Iz' heard movement to his right, and he immediately followed the sound. Now Iz' was a hundred percent sure that someone had followed him, and he was more determined than ever to find out who it was. He continued racing through the forest, following the sounds of the moving figure ahead of him until he came to a clearing. And in that clearing Iz' found a girl clad in nearly all green. She wielded a ring blade nearly her size, and on and above the tree behind her were ravens.
Through his hood, Iz' said in an exceptionally calm voice, "So, you're the one who's been following me. Hnh. That's good to know. By the way, who are you?"
With a smile, the girl said in a playful tone, "My name is Tira, and I'm gonna kill you."
Unfazed, Iz' replied with a slight smirk on his face, "Kill me you say? Then go ahead and kill me."
Tira cheerfully said, "Yay! Let's play," and then charged.
