AN: I will be using alien races from Star Trek so none of the races are mine, but the stories are mine. Hope you enjoy.
The first human Ania ever met was when she was assigned to the USS Explorer. She had been trying not to pay attention to the tossing of the transporter when she noticed that a pale creature was staring straight at her, mouth hanging open. "What are you looking at," Anita said in the common tongue.
The human immediately straightened up and replied, "Sorry I just have never met a Orion...I knew you all were green. I just didn't know you had a tail. That's fucking brilliant." Ania wasn't quite sure what that meant but she smiled.
The second time they met was in the dining hall. The human woman, as Ania had found out, had just sat down next to her. "Hi," the human woman replied clueless that Ania didn't want company. Ania just nodded. She didn't need to baby sit the only human on the ship. The human didn't seem to notice though and started to eat it's meal. About half way through the meal something strange happened Ania started to hear this strange pitch coming from the human. She looked over and saw the human's whole body shaking.
"Shit, she's going into shock from something she ate," thought Ania. She immediately jumped up and screamed for help. Within seconds the medical team plus most of the crew were gathered around a rather shocked human.
Before she realized it the human was hooked up to a monitoring device. "Um," she stated between the pitches coming from her body, "What's going on?"
"Miss please stay calm we fear you are going into shock," stated the doctor. "Nurse please prepare for the worse."
Ania was the first to hear the laughter between the pitches from the human.
"You all think I'm going into shock! This is great, priceless. I just have the hiccups. A perfectly safe thing for humans to get when they drink something to fast or something with a lot of carbonation."
Needless to say the human never let Ania or any of the crew live it down. Though the human did notice that any time Ania or for that matter any of the crew were with her when she drank something they always made sure it wasn't carbonated and that she drank slowly.
