AN: More NaruHina fluff. Gomen. ;; This is a sort of poem-fic (instead of a songfic..hehe? Yeah? No?). The poem is called 'The Paper Bag' by Zaro Weil.

Naruto shifted awkwardly in the suit he was wearing. He wasn't particularly looking forward to the formal dinner. He shivered slightly and glanced from side to side to make sure no one he knew was coming around the corner to make fun of him.

He groaned as snow began to lightly fall.

His blue eyes gazed up at the sky as he waited impatiently. A flake landed on his face, and his nose wrinkled as it tickled him into a quiet sneeze.

A gust of cold wind made the ninja grimace, increasing the narrowing of ocean blue eyes.

He reached up and ruffled the white and freezing wetness out of his spiky blonde hair, wondering briefly if she had ditched him.

His mind started racing suddenly and he sighed deeply in confusion, his warm breath making a tiny cloud as his black and unbottoned suit became dusted with snow.

"Naruto-kun?"

The young man gave a start and snapped his head around to find his date standing a few feet from him. He hadn't heard her.

Her incredibly dark hair framed her flushed, pale face. The long pink velvet dress looked damp at the end and her pink satin heels were completely soaked.

She was breathing heavily, as if she had just run a long distance in a short amount of time.

"Naruto-kun, I am so sorry. My father was a bit upset at first–."

"Hinata."

She blinked up in surprise. Her love walked toward her and wound his warm fingers through her cool ones. He smiled a small smile.

"I love you so much and I'm glad you made it."

"Naruto-kun."

"I was kind of getting worried that you didn't–."

"Naruto-kun."

"Just hear me out, Hinata."

"Hon, I'd love to, but Sakura might injure you if we're any later."

He winced outwardly and began running. "Got it. Let's go."

"Hinata," he said as they hurried to the restaurant, their breaths coming in short and cloudy huffs.

She turned to him slightly and he couldn't help noticing how perfectly the blush on her cheeks matched her soft-looking dress.

"You look really nice."

He stopped suddenly, putting a hand on her sleeved shoulder and kissing her lightly on the lips.

Relief washed over him comfortingly and he realized he wasn't as frigid-feeling anymore. He smiled warmly at her giggle until she spoke.

"Sakura really is going to kill you."
