Jin's Dark Tournament

The Boat

Jin wakes up in a boat on the ocean and looks around. He has no idea how he got on this boat or where it is going. He then hears a familiar voice. "Jin get your butt over here. Just because you slept through half the trip doesn't mean you can slack for the rest!" He turns and sees his three friends Cole, Mark, and Seth. Jin looks beyond them and sees a mirror. His back hair is combed back in normal fashion with spikes and his blue eyes are shining in the dim sunlight. He is wearing his favorite sleeveless shirt and blue jeans. Mark walks up with his medium length hazel hair in its combed back style blowing in the wind. His hazel eyes are staring out across the ocean. "Well Jin six days out on sea and you finally wake up." He looks over at Cole who has his long messy black hair going wherever it pleases. His trademark leather jacket and tore up jeans. He looks down at the shot member of the group Seth. With his dirty blonde hair and green eyes he is the youngest member of the team. Jin looks back at Mark as he gazes out at the water. "Mark what are we doing here?" Mark smiles and his gaze never leaves the ocean. "Don't you remember Jin? We are going to be in a new tournament. The judges of this tournament heard of our success in our local gym and invited our team to compete." Cole walks up. "You are the one who signed the papers. 'Team Meyio' Ring a bell?" Seth sits aside and sighs. Cole looks back at Seth and laughs. "Yeah. We just recently learned that we can use weapons and Seth didn't bring his swords." Jin laughs loudly. "Seth I knew… I brought my three extra swords. You can all use one." Cole raises one hand in protest. "I prefer to use my own katana." Mark smiles and nods his head once. "Thanks Jin but I will use my own." Seth stands up and yells. "AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO DIDN'T KNOW!" Jin smiles. "I ment to tell you. I simply forgot." Seth sighed. "Well I better go get my stuff. We are about to dock." Jin's three friends walk off and he sits back. "Alone at last." He closes his eyes when he hears a yet another familiar voice. "Jin… You finally woke up?" Jin open his eyes to see his wife Olivia standing over him. Her brown hair hanging in her face as she bends over to get a better look at Jin. Her brown and hazel eyes staring deep into his. "Oh honey. I didn't know you were here." She laughs. "I told you I wouldn't let you go alone." Jin sighs. She always does these things. If she thinks he will be hurt or injured she will always tag along. He loves her with all his heart so he can't argue that much. "Ok sweetie. But please do me a favor. We don't know where we are going so please be careful. Remember the last tournament?" The image of him and his wife in a brawl in the audience flashes through his head. She smiles and hugs him. "I remember. I promise I will be careful." Jin looks back out across the ocean and sees an island on the horizon. 'That must be it. The place the tournament is taking place.'
