I wrote this before the last season's opener. I was trying to think of how Penny and Sheldon would be waiting around for Leonard. This is what I came up with. This is totally not Shenny.

Silence
"I'm back!" Leonard announced, as he came into the apartment.
What he founding the living room, shocked him. Penny and Sheldon were sitting on yoga mats on the floor. They had their eyes closed as they sat across from each other.
"Guys?"
Neither one of them made a sound.
"Guys," he repeated, now sounding annoyed. "Really! Stop ignoring me! I'm back!" When neither one of them moved or attempted to talk to him, he asked, "Aren't you going to say hi at least? I was gone for three months."
Again all they did was breathed, their eyes remained shut, and they continued doing what they had been. Frowning Leonard looked them over. What exactly were they doing anyway? Meditation? The last time Sheldon had tried to meditate, Raj had come close to killing him. And yet there they were, side by side, sitting with their legs crossed and their eyes shut. This was just so…weird!
Normally, neither one of them could sit still for more than a minute and even when they were sitting, it usually involved working on their laptops or, in the case of Penny, drinking.
"Hel-lo!" Leonard attempted yet again. "I'm back!"
Nothing. There wasn't so much as a heavy sigh between them. Standing up straight he put his fists on his hips and glared down at them. Fine if this was the way they were going to be, so be it!
"I'm going to go over to see Howard and Raj!" Still nothing. "Bye!"
He stormed out of the apartment and slammed the door for good measure.
A minute later Penny's head fell back and she admitted one of her loudest snores to date. This abruptly woke Sheldon who automatically began screaming, "Danger! Danger!" which in turn woke Penny screaming, "What! Where? Sheldon!"
She got up and went to get a bottle of water as she muttered, "Well, that didn't work. How much longer do we have to wait for Leonard?"
He looked at his watch. "I don't understand. He should be here by now."
"We tried just about everything to pass the time until he gets here. We even tried meditation, for all the good it did. Though I must say I haven't slept that well without being drunk in a time." Penny opened the bottle and drank. "We've done everything, but the one thing I've asked for—Can we please play Age of Conan?"
"Oh alright!" he muttered. "But if you cease bathing yet again, I'm going to take a fire hose to you, woman."
