This is a small one-shot for Canada's and Hong Kong's birthday. Sorry if it's too short and I didn't post it in the correct date. I was busy with school and there was a party last night. I was tired and the laptop's keyboard doesn't work and Mom turned off the Wi-Fi.

I'm not gonna lie, I know I'm making excuses. You can throw me into the Ring of Fire (I'm watching Nemo). Enjoy this story!

Happy (Belated) Birthday Canada and Hong Kong!

Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia. The countries belong to themselves and Hidekaz Himaruya. But I do wish they exist (the personifications)

Canada sighed as he watched the leaves fly past the window. It was a nice sunny day, the kind to spend outside. It was a good day. A birthday.

His birthday to be specific.

"Food," his pet polar bear, Kumajiji, tugged at his jeans. "Park."

The country shook his head. "Not now, Kumadilo. I don't want to go to the park today and I fed you ten minutes ago." He pulled out his phone, wondering if he should call anyone. After all, everyone couldn't have forgotten him again, especially on his birthday. America, or even Prussia, would answer right?

Kumagado lunged for his phone and softly snapped it up. He proceeded to race out of the house with the North American following him, leading the nation to the park. However, Canada lost the bear and he wandered the park, softly calling for his pet.

He heard shouting and yelling from one of the closed gazebos. It suspiciously sounded like America and Prussia… Maybe they've seen Kumariko? It didn't hurt to try.

And if he got a 'Congratulations on your 149th birthday!' (or not), it didn't hurt to try his luck for once. Maybe a few countries remembered.

The shouting stopped when Kuma and America stumbled out. Canada caught his brother before he could fall and he took his phone back from his pet who was still holding it with its mouth.

"Hey, bro! There you are!" America grinned at him. "We've been waiting for you for, like, forever!"

"We?"

America just knocked on the door three times before steering the confused twin inside. The bewilderment turned into astonishment as he took in the red's and white's and the two dozen or so countries all smiling (at some level) at him.

The Allies minus China were by the food table as they tried to stop England from putting his burnt scones. The Nordics were playing and tuning their instruments in a corner. The Baltics and Ukraine were in another corner, away from Russia (except Belarus; she was stalking him as always). And lastly, the Axis was by the the three-tiered cake (the lettering said 'Happy 149th birthday!' in cursive) with Romano and Spain arguing with Germany and Netherlands respectively.

They turned as one and shouted, "Happy birthday, Canada!"

"Are you ok, broski?" America asked Canada worriedly as tears formed in his purple eyes.

Canada nodded before attacking the American with a bear hug. "I'm fine, Ame. This is just the best surprise party I've ever gotten."

America laughed out loud at that. "Well, let's party, bro!"

Hong Kong smirked at his pile of presents; 'souvenirs' from other countries (both landmass and person), sweets and new clothes, and his ever-growing pile of firecrackers. China was going to blow a fuse.

Just in time, the fireworks exploded all over his country and China's and he waited for his caretaker to explode.

There it was.

"HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA! Turn them off now, aiyah!"

The Asian smirked as he continued setting off his supply.
