Chap 1

The end of the cycle was nearing and as usual the Emerald department was going through hell like the end of any other cycle. They all only have a few more hours before they go over their extended time period. Sometimes like these I wish that I could go back to editing literature but that department doesn't have Takano. Not like I'll ever tell him that he's the only reason that I'm still in emerald. Besides if I go back to literature I'll most likely remember things that I'd rather forget.

"Ritsu can you get me some copies please" said a half dead looking Kisa

"Sure I'm almost done myself" I said as I take his papers. As I walk to the printing room I bump into someone and we both go down for the count.

"Sorry I was in a rush" said a young boy most likely in his early 20's, and after really getting a good look at him, he could be like my younger brother but with darker hair.

"No problem so was I, as long as your no hurt" I said as I get my manuscript together while helping the young boy up. "Are you looking for someone maybe I can help you if your lost"

"Hh actually I might not look like it but I just started a few days ago officially, you see I use to just run around and help deliver what I could around here. But now I'm a full time jr editor, by the way my name is Misaki Takahashi" said Misaki

"Welcome aboard Misaki hope you like it here I'm Ritsu Onodera I work in the emerald department. Listen why don't we get together after work and talk some more" I said thinking that maybe I could have normal friends as well.

"Sounds like fun I'll see you the" he said as he hurried off

Not long after that everyone in the emerald department finished off one by one, and before I knew it only Takano and myself were left. I looked at the clock as it is nearing 8 o clock

"I'll be leaving first" I said as I get my things together.

"Wait for me, I'm taking you to eat somewhere" he said

"That's really not necessary besides I'm meeting a friend in a few" and before I knew it he was behind me, close enough that I felt his body warmth and the smell of tobacco. I'll never admit it out loud but I only ever love the smell of tobacco on him.

"Oo really and who is this friend" I felt his hot breath on my neck as he said this making me shiver.

"He's new to Murakawa, we bumped into each other earlier" I defended

"I won't have you go with some one that you barley know" as he said this he spun me around to face him. Me being me I immediately try to push him off of me while thanking whatever god was out there that the fourth floor was currently empty.

"Why do you care we aren't even together and besides he's just a kid" I said while not really meaning it but dam it this time around I want it to be different.

"Then tell me that you love me already so that we can get pass this already" he said as pulled me closer to the point that our noses were touching. And like always without worrying he kissed me which caused me to gasp which only gave him better access and depend the kiss. Then as fast as he kissed me it was over and just when I was leaning in too "please just go home with me"

"I'm sorry but this is my only chance to make a friend that doesn't know about my family" I said as I pushed him with more force this time.

"Fine but you're eating with me tomorrow, and I want to see what he looks like" he said finally letting me go. Little did I know that Misaki was in the same kind of predicament as me. Soon we were off to meet Misaki.

"I want you to call me as soon as your heading home ok" said Takano all I did was shake my head in agreement. We waited for the elevator to open but as soon as it did I wish I had my eyes closed, because in the elevator was my new not normal friend kissing a taller man.

"S-sorry we didn't see anything" I stuttered out while blushing and looking away

"We were just doing the same thing don't get so embarrassed" I heard Takano say on my left

"DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE THAT OUT LOUD" I screamed as I blushed even more.

"It's not a problem" I heard someone say but I was too embarrassed to even look.

"IT IS A PROBLEM" I heard Misaki yell out. "By the way this is the new friend I was talking to you about"

"Nice to meet you I'm Akihiko Usa- Ritsu is that you"

"I-I Akihiko" I said completely shocked that it was him

"Ehh you to already know each other" said a confused Misaki

"Oh yeah now I remember you were one of Usami-sensei's editors in the past" said Takano

"He wasn't just my editor but my younger brother from my mother's side" said Usami as he looked at a still shocked Ritsu

"I forgot that you work here know" said Ritsu in a low voice as he got flash backs and passed out.
