'Sometimes'
They're happy together, they really are. Her Doctor in the blue suit.
He's everything the Doctor is, was, could ever be, but sometimes she wonders.
When she holds his hand, it's the same as holding His.
When she kisses him, it is with the same passion she has always felt.
Rose knows she loves this Doctor, her Doctor, but sometimes...she wonders.
The pain in her Doctor's eyes as he gave her this second chance. She can't leave her Universe now, but she can have this Doctor to take her pain away.
Her original Doctor, though. Sometimes she wonders, as she watches her Doctor sleep. The soft rise and fall of his chest, the feeling of his single heart beat under her fingertips...the simplicity of one beating heart betraying the lack of a second.
Sometimes she wonders how he must have felt, giving her to his double. His pain lingers on – he no longer has a Rose to heal him. That's why she was given to his war-torn twin.
Rose can fix this Doctor, just like she fixed her original Doctor.
But sometimes, she wonders.
