Shadow of Remnant
Prologue
We're different from the world, both human and faunus...
A hooded figure ran through the dark alleyways of Vale. Trying to lose someone or something following right behind them. It was too dark for human eyes to see, but the eyes of a faunus were different.
What they cannot understand, they will fear...
Stopping at a dead end, the hooded figure looked around in a sense of panic as three masked faunus appeared from the shadows with weapons drawn. Stopping, the figure looked at the weapons and started to back up towards the wall. The faunus drew closer, as they walked into the light the uniform of the White Fang was revealed.
What they fear, they will wish to eliminate…
The closest faunus to the hooded figure came in first, aiming to strike his enemy square on the chest. Moving out of the way, the figure stayed well away from the rest of the White Fang, but in the initial dodge, the remaining two came in with their weapons as well. Three blades were pointed to the hooded figure and it was going to end bad.
Stand strong and remember, you are the one to change our families fate…
The lights suddenly vanished from the alleyway, and a purple gleam of light outlining the shape of a human was the only thing visible. Soon the gleam became a blur, as three flashes of light and three matching booms sounded before the sickening sound of breaking bones followed after.
You will perform deeds that will dirty your hands, but you must be strong…
Flickering back to life, the alleyway lights returned and the scene it unfolded was horrendous. Three dead bodies lied in ruin and blood were splattered all over the area; the limbs were broken to the point where it was nothing more than splintered bones were tearing out of the flesh, the chest cavity had been torn open and any organs inside were burnt black with a purple like hue emitting from it.
Nothing will stay clean during battle nor will you…
Blood dripped onto the floor and the hooded figure looked at the devastation that had happened in this alleyway. Bodies that once belonged to the members of the White Fang were laying on the bloodied ground, but now was not the time to stop and think since there were most likely to be more to appear. Jumping to the side of the building, the hooded figure continued to repeat the jump until reaching the top of the building. Standing up in the moonlit building top, there was nothing to see except the broken moon that belonged to Remnant and turning towards the cliff that overhung Vale. The place that has the most amount of information and combat training needed for the future.
Now go and grab your fate! Create your new destiny!
Before taking a single step forward, a series of dust induced objects stopped the hooded figure's tracks. Glancing at what has keeping it from moving forward, a new person appeared on the building top. A middle aged woman with light blonde hair wearing a white long-sleeved suit that exposed part of her chest, and puffy sleeves that tighten near the wrist before spreading back out near her hands. Her lower body has a black business skirt with buttons running in a vertical line up the front of it and lighter black-brown stockings.
"Good evening. I believe we have much to discuss with tonight's affairs," Glynda Goodwitch spoke in a stern tone, her riding crop pointed at the hooded figure. "I'm sure that Ozpin would enjoy a talk with you."
