Author: This is based on the Mai Otome Drama CD track 4. This is just a little extra I've added for my own amusement. Don't worry, it's ultimately ShizNat so enjoy!

"Say, Shizuru?" the chestnut haired woman looked over at her emerald eyed lover with her casual smile.

"Yes Natsuki?"

"I'm sorry if this is rude to ask, but..." the slight pause made Shizuru's smile withdraw as the blunette looked away nervously before looking back. "How were you able to escape from Tomoe?"

Shizuru let out a small gasp, drawing her wine coloured eyes away towards the window, the woman felt an immense weight of fear falling upon her shoulders.

-Flashback-

"What do you desire from the bottom of your heart? Your first desire, the best thing that can make you feel good... come now, try to listen to your own heart.." Shizuru smiled lovingly before the girl as Tomoe shyly looked away.

"Ba~bu" Tomoe muttered in a baby tone hoping that Shizuru hadn't heard her.

"Ara?"

"Ba~bu" Tomoe imitated once more, this time making sure Shizuru could hear her.

"Ara, is this what Tomoe-san wants?" Tomoe nodded her head reply taking no note of the small blush blooming on her cheeks. "Then..." Shizuru's hand began to slip away from her side over towards the small toy that laid beside the bed.

Tomoe tilted her head to the side in confusion before watching as Shizuru's hand hanged high above her head holding a pair of keys. "Ba~bu?"

Shizuru smiled warmly as she jingled the keys before her. "Does Tomoe like this?" Shizuru continue to jingle the keys earning a playful smile coming from the young girl. Tomoe reached her hand out towards the key gently tapping against it letting out a small ringing noise.

"Ba~bu!" Tomoe smiled in joy as she continued to play with the keys. Shizuru just smiled at the young girl's actions taking in the cute scene before her. Taking this moment of distraction, Shizuru slipped a hand into the girl's pocket grabbing hold of the key before withdrawing it back to her side.

-End of Flashback-

'I'm so ashamed, Natsuki was the only person I should patronise and yet...' the presence of a pair of warm loving arms snaking around her waist brought the woman out of her thoughts.

"I'm sorry for asking, I didn't know it was that painful" the blunette whispered gently into Shizuru's ears relieving the woman from the painful thought.

"Arigato Natsuki" Shizuru's eyes rolled around to the side locking a gaze with the pair of soft emerald orbs. Shizuru's eyes flickered down at the small yellow bottle sitting on the table close by to her as she snatched it with haste. Turning to face the blunette, Shizuru hanged the bottle just above the blunette's before shaking it lightly.

"Ba~bu" Natsuki imitated the sound of a baby bringing a smile along the woman's lips.

"Does Natsuki want her bottle?"

"Ba~bu!'

"Here you go" Shizuru engulfed the woman in her arms before slipping the top of the bottle into the blunette's mouth. "There, there" Shizuru gently stroked the blunette's head in motherly way.

"Shizuru, don't patronise me" Natsuki said as she pulled the bottle out of her mouth before leeching back on to finish the contents.

"Kawaii"
