Chapter 1: Jotaro meets Sparrow
14,000 miles off of Osaka: 1:27 P.M
"We are close of entering Osaka, sir. You going to love it here!", the taxi driver said to his passenger, "It has such good products, breathtaking views, amazing design choices, not to mention the food they serve! *Sigh* My stomach is growling just thinking about it." They just passed an exit that led into the main roads of Osaka and immediately, they could see the massive architecture ahead and could hear the busling of people and the constant honking of cars. It was a long silence arriving within the city, and while the passenger was getting annoyed with the amount of constant noise, he inwardly decided to tune it all out. This silence continued until the driver spoke up with stating: "so i'll drop you to the nearest drop-off mr. … ummm.. What was your name? You never told me."
All the passenger said was: "Kujo."
A few hours later, within the Osaka perimeters
"During the second world war … in the 1940s… Hiroshima, a city not far from Osaka, was bombed by the United States…", the history teacher went on with his speech. At this point, most of the students weren't paying much attention. Most of them were watching the clock as it ticked 3:28. 'Only two more minutes', they all thought simultaneously. And some more boring speech (that i'm not gonna bother writing down) later, the holy bell finally rang, signalling for every child to go into a mad dash to the exit of their school. As the kids stormed out of the building, off the school grounds, and the chaos subsided, two individuals stopped at an empty park to chill out from a rough school day before they headed home.
One of them was a man slightly shorter than Jotaro, with red slicked back and jag-shaped hair and one bang covering his left eye. He also wore two metal piercings on each of his ears and a black and red striped hoodie. The hoodie had a spray-paint design that read in giant red letters: "DON'T FUCK WITH ME". He sported a clean pair of gray jeans and red and white sneakers with the Nike logo plastered on each side. On his head, he had bluetooth headphones that covered one ear and was listening to rap and hip-hop music while with his friend.
Speaking of that individual, his acquaintance was more of an easygoing person just by how he dressed. All he wore was a plain white shirt that was buttoned up all the way, a brown wooly hat over his bushy silver hair. He also wore blue sweatpants with the logo "UNBREAKABLE" in bolded letters on each leg. He had a pair of sandals, unusually, in place of sneakers. He was drinking a hot cup of coffee and was basking in the light breeze the park gave.
"While the school day has been … hectic and tiring, the breeze out here is really nice, isn't it?", the sandaled man asked his companion.
No answer.
"... Ok then. Silent treatment again?"
Still no response.
"(Sighs) why am i not surprised?"
"... it's nice."
"Hallelujah! The man speaks!"
"Shut up. Don't make a scene."
"I'm not! I'm just making a statement.'
"Tch. Whatever."
They continue their little argument/conversation when …
"Hey, you two!"
The two of them turned around to see a man wearing an outfit that has tessellated cuffs that were present. Underneath, there was a small, open, lapel-less waistcoat patterned with alternating circles and crosses over a black turtleneck with a the palm emblem on the neck. His hat has a row of black Venus symbols ( ) with an arrow at the bottom of the cross, that way, making them resemble anchors, along with another palm emblem. The bottom of his two belts has a small pouch attached to it.
"... that guy has a menacing stare…", the hooded boy stated, as he stared directly at the man that called them out. The three individuals stared at each other for a while until the older man interrupted the silence.
"Oi. You two like what you see?", The older man asked sarcastically. The two then stopped staring, one now holding a sheepish smile and the other holding a deep scowl on his face. "Very funny.", The second-youngest man said. The oldest man then walks into the park and stops in front of the two younger men as he begins to speak.
"Are you two named Sparrow and Richādoson?", The man started.
"I am. The other one is Richādoson.", The second-youngest man, now known as Sparrow, said, pointing to the youngest man next to him.
"And … you are?", the one named Richādoson asked the older man.
"Kujo. You'll get my full name after you do something for me, Sparrow?", the older man stated.
"And what is that request?", Sparrow asked him, suspiciously.
"... Show me what your stand can do."
Out of all the things that they were expecting on that evening, after a hectic school day, they weren't expecting this.
