A/N: Dumbledore is good but misguided. In this chapter, there is an Angel of Destiny and the Angel of Death. Oh, and Heather will be able to sing and play any instrument. The songs were written and sang today will be used in this story, even if they weren't played in the 90s.

Chapter 1 The Wish and Traveling Back

Lady Heather Jasmine Potter Black wishes more than anything she could go back to her third year before her godfather was murdered and before the second wizarding war started. She wanted to save a lot of lives and get the chance to live the life that she knew her parents wanted her to have, considering they did die so she could get the chance at a long and happy life.

It doesn't really make any sense to her, but she wishes she could have saved her mentor, Albus Dumbledore. She knew he made a lot of questionable decisions where she's concerned, but she understood. Trying to save one life over thousands of others is not worth it. One life is no more important than the rest of the world. Granted, Heather would have liked to have known the truth about the connection between her and that monster but what's done is done.

"I wish I could change everything that has happened in the last few years," Heather stated as she looked around at the damage that was done to the world she adored, respected, and loved. It was nowhere near as beautiful and peaceful as it once was.

She was stunned when it seemed like everything stopped. Like the world was standing still. The next thing she knew, there were three beings standing in front of her.

"You're Lady Magic, aren't you?" she asked the figure in the middle.

"Yes, childe I am," she stated smiling.

"No disrespect intended, but what are you doing here?" Heather asked.

"We're here to give you a chance to change the things you want and get the life you're destined for. You were never meant to live the tragic life you've had," the being on the right stated.

"Um, and you are?" Heather asked.

"The Angel of Destiny," the being answered and Heather couldn't be more stunned.

"I know you couldn't care less about me or the Angel of Death given what we took from you, but please, hear us out," the Angel of Destiny requested.

"Talk," Heather stated as she glared at the beings who had a hand in ruining her life and making it hell on earth.

"Watch the tone young lady," Lady Magic scolded.

"Um, I wouldn't really worry about the tone of voice, considering the mess they made with my life," Heather said trying not to glare at the being who granted her the gift of magic.

"It's quite alright Lady Magic, we at least deserve some of her anger. We have caused her a lot of pain and heartache over the years and even before that with her parents," Death stated because he understood considering he did take her entire family before she could really get to know them as she deserved. Everyone had the right to know their families and this strong and brave young lady had the right more than anyone else.

"You have no right talking about them," Heather stated as she glared at the being who took her parents.

"You're right, I'm sorry," Death stated. It wasn't often that he felt guilty but in this case, he couldn't help it.

"Why do you want to allow me to change things?" Heather asked.

"Because none of this should have ever happened. This was not what we wrote or envisioned for both worlds. Tom Riddle was never supposed to return but because he made those monstrous things, he was able to cheat death," Destiny explained.

"If I go back, will I keep my memories of everything that is important?" Heather asked.

"Yes," the three beings promised.

"Will you take the Horcrux out of my head? I don't want that monster in my head," Heather stated.

"I'll take it out," Death promised.

"Will I be able to tell anyone about this?" Heather asked.

"Only four people. Your godfather, Remus, Dumbledore, and the man you'll marry," Destiny stated.

"So, Neville?" Heather asked.

"How did you know that?" Lady Magic asked stunned.

"I've been in love with him since I was 14 years old. The only reason I didn't say anything is that I didn't want to put him in more danger," Heather explained.

"Would you like to go back?" Destiny asked.

"That's a stupid question, of course, I would," Heather stated.

"Okay," they stated as they each touch her heart and head, then she knew no more.
