Dolly panted with breath and relief as she realised she was a step away from hell. 'Come back here you bitch!' a man cried with agony as he slithered across the floor clutching his knee cap. 'When I get you, you will wish you'd never been born!' Dolly ran for her life knowing that it would end if she was caught. It all started like this:
'Lunch, Lunch, Lunch'! A bell rang and I woke up suddenly and yawned. What time was it? 'Lunch, Lunch, Lunch! Ahh it was lunch... I pulled myself out of bed un-willingly just in time to hear the warden slamming his stick across my door. 'Lunch, Lunch, Lunch'! 'Alright I'm coming, I'm coming' I grumbled. 'Shut up!' said the warden and unlocked me from my cage, reached in with his arm and I grinned evilly as I looked at the swollen lump where I had bitten him not more than two weeks ago, in my attempt to escape the loony bin. 'How's your arm holding up Jack?' I said with a smile and looked up at him innocently, but he could see through me and I intended him to. He flashed me a frown of annoyance and slapped me round the back of my head.
It was the end of lunch and I'd hardly eaten anything of the slop given. I glanced around me looking, looking. When no-one saw I slipped my fork under my dress and down my bra as I had nowhere else to put it. This is the night, this is the night I told myself over and over again in my mind for tonight was the night that i would escape for real, and i had a cunning plan as to which couldn't fail.
I was locked up again for the night they thought would be peaceful. As the warden passed my door one of the other wardens suggested that he ought to look out for her (referring to me) and he casually said 'yh I've got an eye on her' and the other one replied 'she will be ready and old enough soon' 'yh I know it'll shut her up when she realises there is more in store at the mental asylum!' I gasped in terror as I realised what they had meant, all the more reason to get out now.
They never found out how I could unlock my door so they placed a warden outside my door, and as usual he would nod off around ten so i waited
