Okay I'm hoping that I did at least fairly well on this. Reviews will be loved to death but flames will be quickly put out. Oh and since this is the first chapter it won't be very long.

DISCLAIMER:I obviously don't own Naruto.

Prologue

A lone ray of moonlight pierced through the forest canopy and straight to the forest floor. In the concealing void of darkness a lone, lithe figure moves. With its profound grace, it wouldn't seem so dangerous you would think. But there is a hidden movement behind the grace, almost as if it had a secret it would do anything to protect. As it jumps through the moonlight, for a moment it's unprotected and helpless-a single white flash without contrast almost hidden in the concealing darkness.

Its legs move in a fluid pattern as it continues, landing with that same grace. It runs through the seemingly endless stretch of forest and lets out a long howl of joy. It runs faster the closer it gets and the previous joy disappears. It doesn't dare stop. They wait for it and it will not keep them waiting. It finally reaches the clearing and keeps its eyes locked on the huge tree up ahead. It then runs across as fast as it can, its heart pounding in its chest rapidly.

It makes it there and jumps on a root moodily. For once, it's first. So -hidden from the revealing moonlight- it waits

He didn't quite understand why the words "the sting of betrayal" were used so often. It hurt far worse than a sting. A shot or bee stings. Betrayal was like having a cold knife brought in your heart and twisted until you couldn't take it any longer.

He supposed it only hurt worse that he didn't understand why they left. He had promised them everything, yet, they had still betrayed them. Although, they didn't know he knew about their little venture. That was beside the point though. It didn't really matter anyways. He would get rid of them and replace them quickly. Soon that cocky old lady would be put in her place and there would be nobody to stop him except her little apprentices. They were efficient but could also be taken care of.

As a matter of fact, he would destroy them all at once. He had it all planned out and would destroy every last one of them for their betrayal, no matter what the cost.

What was he doing here? He was pretty sure he'd end up dead. So how come he was still alive talking to his enemy, also known as the most beautiful girl alive, but his enemy none the less? Well, she could be very convincing. She had made some good points about the snake he worked for. Then again the snake had some good points too.

Example 1: He could very well kill everyone he cared about if he found out he was here.

Example 2: He could very well kill him in the most horrid ways possible.

As he was listing these thoughts, he was already listing why he was here, her name in every reason. He must be going crazy to be thinking about some woman so much. Oh well. He would deal with that later. Right now they had to think of a plan
